TRAIN DISPLAY SHELF/Set of 2 Model Railroad Shelves | Total of 8 feet of shelving | O Scale/Gauge

I have ordered about 15 of these shelves from this seller (3 different orders). I used for O Gauge and am very pleased. Seller also makes other accessories for O Gauge and they are of equal quality. Can not go wrong with the seller.Shelves ar 48" on length - can be cut shroter if desired and holes can be pre drilled. So if you want shorter than 48" and holes predrilled make sure you tell them (via a phone call or e-mail - and reference your purchase order #) exactly where to drill.I drilled holes myself. Fairly easy to do since Aluminun is soft: drill a small pilot hole then drill a second time with a larger bit - wear safety glasses since shard are possible.Anyhow, the shelf works great. Holds a good amount of weight with minimal flex. Note that the more anchors in the wall the stronger the hold, the less flex.

This bracket is nice for mounting to the wall and displaying model O trains. The grooves in tje bracket acvomidate the wheels of Model O trains. The edges of each 4 ft. segment are only rough cut with a saw and they are not finished smooth, but they are square. You really should get a stud finder, mark the wall, and drill holes in the back plate to match studs.

Love this quality, innovative product. Its super durable, structurally sound and easy to work with. I've used it to display my O gauge trains and love it!

I don't like the way the car trucks rest on the shelf as the truck frames don't sit well in the slots on the shelf.
