I ordered two sets of the GrillHogs as I was tired of the bamboo skewers. I must confess that I love these Stainless Steel skewers! They are perfect! I have used them several times since purchase and thanks to the reviews and answered questions. I partially wrap the wooden handle (the part closest to the grill) with foil paper so they don't burn or be sure to leave an inch of space between handle and the first piece of food on the skewer in that case the wooden part is not sitting right on the hot grill. The food slides on perfectly before and after cooking, cleaning was a breeze. One thing I wished was that the length of the wooden part be shortened by an inch and a half and give that to the skewer part for more food accommodation since the handle is about 5.75 inches long! Having mentioned that, this is the best deal of skewers made! Thanks GrillHogs!

These are great. I made chicken kabobs the other night and it was really nice to have the handles. Before I was using my mom's old metal ones and while they are great, they get really hot and are very difficult to turn. The handles on these made it a quick and easy process. I'm thinking of giving them as father's day gifts this year.

These skewers are awesome and a great deal for the price. The handle is nice and big keeping the heat off your hands and the prong is long enough to hold a lot of food. The quality seems to be really great and they are holding out better than any others I have had yet. Both on my Charcoal and Gas grills they are a pleasure to use and my company even said they are a great find. I would buy these again.

These are the greatest skewers I have found, and I have tried plenty. We use our grill a lot and these flat blade skewers prevent items such as tomatoes, zucchini, fish etc from twisting as you turn the skewer. The wooden handles prevent you from getting singed or burned as you use them. Overall I am thoroughly pleased with them and the price is great also.

This product is just as advertised ......The handles are flat vs round which for me is great........The length is good but I wish they were even longer.I like that you can order 6 vs 12 and the price for what you get is deal....Very Happy !!!

18" seemed like long but I would have preferred longer. Great for a grill but for a fire pit, go with something longer. Well constructed, quality product. Love everything else about it.
