Comfortable, stylish, but NOT DURABLE!!!
I rarely write reviews so heads up: this product is a stinker.First the good: you can pick these up on amazon for sub $50 if you get lucky, I think I paid around $70-80.They are very comfortable and stylish, if you want an affordable take on the clean classic leather sneaker that brands like common projects have turned into an (expensive) modern icon.Great, what’s bad then?I’ve only worn them about 20 times, and they are now unwearable. I questioned the leather from the start and decided to try to be extra careful with them, but the leather started deteriorating right off the bat, with my pant leg wearing through the nice brown color on the the left shoe and into the lighter color underneath, see my pic. Like seriously, I think the top color is airbrushed on or something. Then the color started coming off the left shoe’s toe, revealing light brown underneath. The last straw was just now I accidentally stepped on a piece of packing tape and it touched the toe of my shoe. I pulled it off, and along came the color of the leather! Now the shoes are completely unwearable. Wtf?Weirdly, the leather on the right is also degrading noticeably, but not nearly as fast as the left shoe.My recommendation: if you want a shoe that will look fly for an event or two, these are a decent pick, but if you want to use this look as part of your regular wardrobe then look elsewhere: the breeze from a butterfly wing can take the color off these puppies 🦋

The bad reviews are right
I really wish I would have listened to the negative reviews about this shoe. I'm not sure if its by design or if it is just poor quality control, but on the left shoe especially there was a spot on the heel that curved inward causing a very sharp ,and very painful, edge leading the shoe to cuts deep into your heel. I have a cut, and even bleed into my sock! Keep in mind , I wore this shoe with socks and to my office. I wanted a pair of white sneakers - I probably should've just got Stan Smiths, or Converse, or Vans, or maybe just something from Payless rather than waste money on these.

Same shoe, different color, different fit? Unacceptable!
Firstly I purchased a black pair in 11,5D and really liked them accepting the fact that they won’t last too long. Their soft leather has a nice soft feel but it wrinkles and stains easily. Anyhow, I ordered a second black pair and a third in light brown, both same size. To my surprise these supposedly same shoes had an entirely different fit! The brown was much tighter and was hard and unpleasant to wear for the whole day while the black felt soft and comfortable in just a couple of hours. I thought I received a wrong size but the printing inside indicated that both shoes where 11,5D. So I decided to measure them. From the pictures attached it’s obvious that despite the fact that they are the same model made by the same manufacturer or production line, there are not the same! This is the first time something similar happens to me after buying hundreds pairs of shoes! I am worried that these are not original CH’s! Buyers be aware! There is something “fishy” here!

Lightweight, super comfortable, price is key!
First off, got them for a steal like $40-50 which is great for Cole Haan products. Second, one of the lightest pairs of shoes I own outright comparable to some of my pairs of gym shoes so you don’t even feel these on your feet. Drove for 6 hours in them and had no discomfort. Third, very comfortable, perfect fit. My only gripe is the white sole will require regular cleaning granted I probably shouldn’t wear them out as often in crappy weather but I love them so I don’t mind. I read some reviews that question the quality, worn them about 10x and haven’t had any issues to date. Probably will pick up another pair in the spring as these are my fave CH shoe I’ve purchased over the years.

Just What I Wanted
These basic white sneakers were exactly what I wanted. Light weight and quality materials. In this review I'll cover three things that I think are notable. Fit, quality and comfort.I normally wear 11M (US) for dress shoes and for casual shoes. But often for athletic shoes, I have to size up, particularly for brands like Nike and Adidas. I wasn't sure about what size I should with these since I have other casual style Cole Haan in 11M that fit fine, but these are an athletic style. So I went with my normal size, and they fit great.I am also impressed with the quality of the shoes. The leather has a soft feel, but the shoe itself has a solid structure (not floppy). Though a very plain style, the stitching and workmanship makes it appear very high quality. Also, the color is not bright white, but rather it has a very slight gray hue so it appears muted, which is gives it a premium look.Lastly, these are very comfortable. They are light weight and provide reasonable support for casual wear, though not for actual sporting activity. The arch support is less than average (ie. flatter).I am very happy with this purchase. Though there are a number of options for basic white leather sneakers, I personally chose these base a lot on my satisfaction with previous Cole Haan purchases. These did not disappoint.

EXCELLENT LOOK AND FEEL OUT OF THE BOX
My first reaction picking up the package from the front porch was "WOW...this box doesn't weigh much...wonder if they only shipped one of the shoes." Thankfully, both shoes were in the box. These are lighter than a few of the other shoes I have of this style. I put them on immediately (thanks to Amazon fulfillment for such a fast shipping...I ordered these less than 20 hours prior to receiving)...and they feel amazing on the first try on.Other brands of basic casual tennis shoes I enjoyVans 5 eyelet Basic black with white sole (I include an insole insert with these as my feet are slightly more narrow than their fit)Jousen Leather business CasualEcco Soft 7 (possibly my favorite for business casual wear, but these take a few uses before breaking in nicely)Sperry (my favorites 5 eyelet for basic casual with shorts)Sketchers with memory foam insoles (Mark Nasen)I have worn Cole Haan Dress Shoes for years and loved their comfort and durability. I look forward to wearing these more in the weeks to come as part of my regular business casual rotation.

Beginners Guide to First White Leather Sneaker.
These are great shoes but I wish I treated them better. In case this is gonna be your first pair of white leather sneakers be ready to shell out some extra moneys if you want these to last more than 6 months and you a careless person like me.- Get shoes trees, Moneysworth are solid, wooden and pretty good.- A shoe repellent, Let me cut the crap so don't have to research for hours in. Jason Mark's shoe repellent.- A sneakers cleaner, you need something natural to avoid discoloration and marks or any sort of damage, again Jason Mark's Cleaner and their premium brush.- A leather polish, it expensive but you'll probably never gonna run out of it, Honey Leather Conditioner.- Mr Clean magic eraser. For when you get something on your pristine white sneakers.Do's and Don'ts-Do clean your shoes after every wear using a dry soft cloth or magic eraser is required.-Do use shoes trees to save form and prevent crease lines that look absolutely disgusting.-Do condition your shoes are every wash or once every 2-4 weeks.-Do use the repellent spray every month or after every wash.-Do take the laces and throw em in the normal clothes if they are dirty-Do use a shoe horn-Do not wear them on a rainy day, avoid wetting them.-Do not put them out in sunlight when not in use.-Do not throw em in a washer dryer that a ruin these so quick-Do not use them as skating shoes+Do not rub the leather against rough surfaces+Do not rub magic eraser to hard or dry, I know contradiction but again getting them dirty k?Things to know. Not super sure if this happens with everyone.- The letter on the inside on insole are gonna rub off pretty soon maybe one wear.- The shoes when new cool off-white but that some layer that fades away revealing white leather. Be sure to condition and then coat it with repellent. (at least 2 coats)- They look better if you don't see a knot, look up you find what I mean- You don't need no show socks, ankles work.- They will last just don't be complacent.- Cole Haan isn't Common Project but it's not a bad sneaker (it's super under rated) by any margin unless you can afford common projects.- Almost forgot main point THESE ARE EXTREMELY COMFY, I have had them on 18 hour long days unless you don't wear socks these are amazing in comfort.I think that's all. If I remember anything else I put it here.

Below average.
Disappointed as expected more. Very lightweight but nothing special not even brand name shown on trainer.

Light weight and comfortable shoes
Was very surprised how light these shoes are. They look good with jeans and generally really pleased.Regular size 8 have a wide feel and the fit is really good, order your usual size.

What a con!
The item received was a pair a ladies black high heals....on returning them, import tax for the US was deducted and so I received 56 pence as the total refund!
