I'm 6'2 240 lbs and the XL size fit is just perfect all around. Surprisingly warm for how light it feels. The material feels very nice against my skin. The outer fabric has a slight texture inline with the hail design that I didn't notice in the pics. In person it is subtle, but is a nice detail. Overall the construction is top notch and seems like it'll last for years of regular use. Only took a week to arrive in the US once it shipped.

Received the package very fast, estimated shipping time was months away but it came within a few days. Everything was vacuum sealed and even came with instructions on how to clean and take care of it. Feels like you’re wearing a quilted blanket, very warm and comfortable. Perfect as a house coat and sturdy enough to be used every day. Size is a little large but that is to be expected with this particular coat. A must buy.

I was hesitant to pull the trigger on this hanten because I just wasn't sure what the quality would be or if it would be as soft and cozy as others said, but it is AMAZING. Wrapping yourself up in it is like being hugged. I love sitting on the couch while wearing it and working on the laptop. Shipping was WAY faster than I thought, even with pandemic times. The pockets are super deep and fit my phone easily. It's very sturdy and well made and will definitely last. If you were hesitating, don't! Get it and get cozy!

I received this item promptly, a few days after I ordered it. The design is traditional and beautiful. It is warm, but not suffocating. Every morning, I wake up really early before the sun comes up to work, and this Hanten is a great companion. I imagine that I could wear it for years. Unlike most clothing that is made today, this Hanten is made with excellent craftsmanship. I feel great about this purchase, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this seller in the future.For reference, I am 5'6 (167 cm) and weigh 115 pounds. It falls near my knees. It is slightly larger than expected, but I prefer it that way.

Really warm and a great fit

It's tough to get anything Japanese to fit a larger US male. I go the largest size - in this product, it's called LL, and while it fits my shoulders it's cut weird so it is a bit tight under the arms though the sleeves are generous. Also a bit tight around my girth - but that's cause I gained some pounds. Now that I'm shrinking the Hanten is fitting better. I thought I would wash and stretch it but the instructions warn you to wash delicately, and not advisable for a dryer. If we get another warm day in NY, I'll wet it down with hot water, put on top of my wetsuit, and wear it till it dries. Then it will conform to my contours. As a kid, I did that with jeans. Works great. Very graphic designs, with looking fabric in multiple but subtle textures and colors. The Japanese wear these as winter coats even if they do not close completely. They layer. I'll use it in my home office while working or playing around. Feels like I'm still in bed under my blanket.

It takes awhile for the batting to “deflate” so when it first arrived, it felt like a marshmallow suit. But with daily use, it deflates and fits much better. I’m 5’9” and thin, and ordered size “M-L”, I wish “M” would have been available, I think that would be a perfect fit. That said, I love it!The hanten itself is so soft and cozy. Perfect for wearing around the house this winter. The quality is very good, and looks exactly as shown on Amazon.It’s the best thing I’ve bought this year! I got my buddy to get one as well, and he loves his! He can’t wait to get home from work to throw it on. It’s that good.

I really love the Hanten that was offered and delivered to me in such a prompt manner. I bought it large so I can wear a sweater under it if need be [I am a 5' 10", 150lb woman]. It is very, very warm, comfortable and well crafted, the length comes a little past my upper thigh. There are cleaning instructions which come with the hanten and they recommend hand washing in order to prevent possible damage from using a machine. It makes it more difficult obviously to clean, but it is an item stated as being something one wears inside, and only for the season so it should not need to be cleaned but just once a year. I was glad they included these specific instructions. I'm very happy with my purchase! :)

Well, Winter hasn't completely passed here, so I'm still wearing it while I type this. I bought the men's as I'm quite a tall woman and most asian women's wear is too small for me. The design is refined, quality is great. Cotton soft and thick enough to keep me warm. Would buy again, gift to others.

The purchase was for my Son as a gift. He absolutely loved it. The quality exceeded my expectations.
