It does not work.
It is useless. Your hands are the best tools to roll grape leaves. It allows a very tiny bit of filling and still does not roll the leaves. Save your money.

can't believe it
This is one specialty gadget worth taking up space in the pantry. Standing at the kitchen counter rolling 5 dozen dolmades is back breaking for me. Both the kitchen, the dolmades and I end up a mess. But getting the rolling down to a consistent assembly is worth the small price. Different prices are asked by vendors but they all seem to be the same item. No instructions included worried me until I looked it up on You Tube. I'm thoroughly pleased with my first try. I use the smallest ice cream scoop which is a shade more than 1 tsp, no matter whether it's a large leaf or a smaller leaf and the roll is always perfect - not too loose and not to tight. I put them in the InstaPot and they were cooked in 20 minutes. I didn't want to use brown rice and didn't have sushi rice, so quinoa was a good substitute to add to the filling. Two thumbs up.
