A work of genius and wonderment
The life story of Adolf Wölfli is one of trauma and mental decline. Almost assuredly suffering from schizophrenia, he ended up a psychiatric patient. While there, he began to create astounding works of wonderment and vision as a method that calmed his psychotic episodes and violent outbursts. This tomb shows the complexity and depth of his inner landscape that he brought outward for all to experience. The colors, interwoven world and subtlety of his art his unparalleled by few. Not only did Adolf create images but also music and simply weaving language to form his universe. This is a defense and worthwhile book at almost any cost.

No one who's interested in "L'Art Brut" should be disappointed by this book
In my view a very interesting book for all enthusiasts of Outsider Art.This edition of his works is splendid in every way, and for thosewho know his paintings from earlier books or pamphlets, this is arevelation, since it's a much more complete overview of his ouevrethan available before. No one who's interested in "Art Brut" shouldbe disappointed by this book.
