This Vivaglory double handle lead is not only great value, because it’s very good quality and versatile, but it’s fantastic for controlling a big dog who is not yet good with other dogs – either because he gets anxious and can react with aggression, or because he is over boisterous. It’s both designed and made well.There are two handles, one very short and one at the end. Both are very comfortable and mean that the same lead can be easily be switched from full length (for straightforward walking) to a shorter length (when you need it because there’s a road top cross or other dogs are approaching).The two lengths possible with this lead puts you back in control so it’s safer when walking through crowds, crossing heavy traffic or otherwise needing to keep your dog close.

This order arrived 12 hours after placing it! I use a training lead with my dog as she is dog aggressive, as the extra length gives her some freedom while still being on the lead. . This lead is brilliant! The length allows her to run and play, and the 2nd handle is easy accessible to hold her right by me if we see another dog, so i can get her to focus on me. This lead has changed my life! - and hers! I feel so much more confident and in control now when i take her out, and it only cost £8.99!

Dog lead arrived promptly and came in a little pouch which presented well.The dog lead is very sturdy and looks well made. I particularly like the reflective stitches.The lead has 2 handles, one very short and one at the end. To me the shorter one seemed a little too short, but the material used inside the handle (blue colour) is very soft and makes walking your dog on this lead quite comfortable - With other flat leads I've found that it sometimes could cut or hurt my hand when my dog is pulling.The only thing I would say is that the hook to attach the lead to your dog collar or harness is a little heavy. This means it's very sturdy and would be great when walking larger dogs, but as I have a small dog it's perhaps a little too much.

Brought this lead for a year and a half old Labrador who constantly pulls on walks. It hasn't stopped him from pulling completely, however it has really improved the way that he walks. He tends to still pull for the first 5-10 minutes of his walk but after that he usually walks fine. The lead is extremely comfortable to hold and doesn't cause any damage when he does pull. I can't really comment on the durability of the lead as I have only been using it for a week, hopefully it will prove to be good. I would definitely recommend this to any dog owner, it is the best dog lead I have ever purchased.

This is the dog lead we’ve been searching for! Previously my husband and I had a dog lead each as I didn’t like his rope style one and he didn’t like my flat webbing one. But those leads have been firmly relegated to the back of the cupboard after buying this one. The padded handle is very comfortable, and despite the lead being slightly long for me (I’m short and we have a big dog!) it’s easy to wrap around my fingers to shorten it if I need to, although the second handle means I don’t really need to as it’s close enough to the dog to keep her secure when crossing the road, but also doesn’t restrict her. I can comfortably hold the lead end in one hand and have the second handle in the other while keeping the dog on a relatively loose lead, although obviously this depends on the size of your dog. The attachment clip seems sturdy and is fairly large which is good if you struggle with the tiny ones some leads seem to have. The contrasting coloured handle padding is a nice touch and the reflective stitching is a must for us as we have a black dog who essentially invisible in the dark!

I would simply echo all of the positive reviews here. The lead is of very good quality and it looks good too. The two padded handles make it much more comfortable to use than most leads, and the second handle near the collar/harness clip is useful when you need to closely control your dog. I purchased the 1.5m lead which is perfect for my needs, giving the dog I purchased it for exactly the right amount of 'reach' I will be purchasing a second one for my other dog.

I brought this lead for my regular dog walks. I walk over a variety of areas and can honestly say this lead is amazing!The 6ft length allows my dog to still have an explore when on the lead where safe and he still has a bit of freedom but is easily brought under control but I then love the short handle to then hold when walking next to a road so I’ve got full control of him to keep him safe.The handles on this lead are padded which makes them very comfortable to hold so no marks on your hands or anything like that.There is then a loop near to the top of the lead which allows the lead to be slung around your body clipped on so no trying to tie knots, you can just quickly clip it round yourself and just as easily detach it when your dog needs to go back on a lead.I have recommended this lead to several family members and they are also getting on well with it!All round a great lead and also found great customer service from the supplier through Amazon.I have this lead 5* all round.

Having graduated from her short puppy lead, and having a bad experience with a retractable lead, I decided to try this one. I am so happy I did! I like how you can order the lead in 1/2 or 1 inch widths, because many leads are just to 'bulky' for her at this stage. Very comfortable to use and I love the traffic handle that is easy to reach and use and gives me extra confidence that I can keep her safe. It is a perfect length for walks, allowing for a bit of exploring as well as getting her back to heel. I think the 1/2 inch may do her for many months, but if I need a wider lead I will be purchasing the Vivaglory in the 1 inch width.
