Disneyland Trip Approved!
I purchased this for a Disneyland trip. After being at the park from open to close this little spiked ball helped tremendously! I still use it after the trip from when I get home from a long day at work. I bought another larger ball with no spikes but this one works way better. I'm so happy it's made in the USA too! I highly recommend this it massages perfectly its a great value, and will last forever.

Best Product Ever!
Oh, my gosh, this thing is AMAZING! It doesn't look like much, honestly. It's a small, dark green, rubber ball that fits in the palm of your hand. (Slightly bigger than a golf ball, but much smaller than a tennis ball.) It's covered in flat rubber "nubs," so it looks a bit odd, like some kind of weird, alien fruit. But don't let its appearance throw you off. This bumpy ball will save your feet from misery! It resembles a dryer ball in many ways, but it's not the same at all. It's softer, more rubbery, and the nubs are flat-topped and short, so they won't hurt your feet. How to use it: Drop the ball on the floor, then (gently) step on it with a bare foot. (Or you can wear socks, if you're modest.) Move your foot, rolling the ball around. Up and down, back and forth, in circles---whatever feels good! It's like getting a foot massage---only better, because you control exactly where you're being rubbed, and you control how hard or light the pressure is.If you have balance issues, sit down before using it. Or lean against something, so you don't fall. Note that your feet may be extra sensitive at first, like how you jump when someone first starts rubbing your feet, especially if they're extra sore. Go gently until your nerves adjust, and then you can press as hard as you like.I haven't tried massaging my back with this ball, although it should work for that, too. For a back massage, my suggestion would be to put two of these inside a very thin sock. (If the sock is thick, you'll lose the benefit of the little nubs.) Knot the end of the sock, then lean against a wall, with the sock resting against the part of your back that needs massaging. Bend your knees and move up and down, rolling it against your back. Press harder if you need more pressure. A physical therapist taught me to do this using two tennis balls inside a sock! It works great for accupressure, as well as reaching muscle spasms or pinched nerves in your back. I'd imagine this product would be even better than tennis balls, since it's smaller and has the rubber nubs.Even if you only use it for your feet, it's a bargain at any price. I can't imagine how I survived without it all my life! Five stars and highly recommended for anyone who does a lot of walking, or who stands all day. Bring one along on your next trip to a theme park, or use it after a long day of shopping! Your feet will thank you.

Simple and effective; don't expect miracles
Here's what you get: a spikey ball made out of very hard plastic. Here's what you do with it: put the ball on the ground, and, with firm pressure, roll the bottom of your foot over the ball. (More-intrepid people might try rubzing the ball on their back, calves, or whatever.)Here are the results: I'm not sure what other reviewers are up to, but at no point did I ever experience a phenomenological epiphany where these foot rubz became indistinguishable from foot rubs. It feels like a hard plastic ball with nubs is rolling around under your foot. As it happens, this turns out to relieve some amount of foot pain. So, you have a simple cause and effect: Rubz your foot with the ball, and your foot will feel better. If you're in it for the results, then it performs perfectly. If you're in it to experience the zen of massage from the comfort of your office chair, however, you're in for a let down. Some advice: Wear socks when you rubz your foot. Absent socks, the nubs stabbed at my foot exactly as one would expect hard plastic nubs to do. Wearing thick socks helps distribute the pressure a bit, reducing the biting sensation, while still relaxing your foot. (For related reasons, I haven't successfully used the FootRubz for its secondary function as a "back massage ball." Contact with bare skin is unpleasant; rubbing it over a tshirt causes the ball to grab the tshirt, the result being either an ever-tightening shirt or an immobile ball; and rubbing it over a sweater provides minimal sensation.)

Great for foot relief
I actually bought this product a decade ago but seemed to have lost it so I had to replace it. I use it by throwing it on the floor and letting my feet roll it around while sitting at my desk while working. It's great for removing foot tension in the arches of my feet and it's just the right amount of hardness.

nubs are just right
It’s a great size and the nubs are not pointy so they don’t harm my skin. I find that it works just as well as the sharper versions. It’s great for tight hands and feet.

Nice for my plantar fasciitis
I love this little thing. I've used several different balls and rollers and this one seems to work best for me. One smooth ball I have just shoots out from under my foot, another knobby ball has a flat part which makes it roll very weirdly - not sure why they included a flat spot (the ball is round, but no nubs in one area), and a well reviewed small green roller just doesn't work very well for me (your mileage may vary). I use this just about everytime I am about to get up from the bed during the night or in the morning. I like it well enough I bought a second to use at the office.
