The mounting clips are NOT included. Someone replied to the Q&A saying the clips are included. Nope. The clips are an expensive addition. I was not confident in my ability to hang this molding without the clips. I was unwilling to double my cost for this project by buying the clips separately. They are plastic so why are the clips so expensive? I purchased 3 boxes with 64' of molding in each box.Clips were over $1 for each clip and one clip is needed every 12". I decided to return this molding.The quality of the molding is nice. It is not rigid like the Focal Point medallions. It is lighter weight than wooden molding.I would buy again if the clips were included. But, not at an additional cost of over $1 per PLASTIC clip.

This molding is just wonderful. It makes the whole room look different.It is light weight, and very easy to work with.What I did was I spray painted it first with a coat of glossy white paint, so I wouldn't need to paint it once it is up.I then nailed them into place with a finish nailer. Although the listing says to use brackets, it is so much easier using a nail gun.Since it is so light, you don't need too many nails. I then went over every nail hole and caulked it in. I then caulked the top and bottom of the molding against the wall, to give it some added strength and to get rid of small gaps.Then some touch up paint and it looks great.

easy to install. light weight so it stays in place. caulk the backside of both edges. premark on wall the lower edge guideling. place the trim on the lower guide line and press in place. use a 1" finish nail to hold to wall and ceiling. clean up excess caulk and paint. can pre paint the trim with spray paint to make life easier. looks great!!!
