The best pair of goggles for any compeititve swimmer
I've been a competitive swimmer all my life and recently a swim coach. Vanquisher goggles are by far the best affordable goggles out there. The streamline fit doesn't feel bulky and you don't get that "face smash" feeling from dives. Plus the design is far more stylish than other goggles out there (I'm looking at you Hyrdospex). I remember the devastation we (my swim team) all felt when we heard Vanquishers were being discontinued only to be filled with relief when Vanquisher 2.0 came out. 10/10 will be the only brand I buy.Pros:Sleek designNo "Face smash" feeling from dives or push offsDoesn't feel bulkyCons:The straps are not as durable as some other types, if you aren't lazy and properly tightening and loosen (as opposed to just tugging on the straps) then they'll last a heck of a lot longer. Even with being lazy they almost always make through a season for me (a season for me is swimming twice a day Mon - Fri from October to April)Side note: If you're a parent looking for goggles for your young (10 and under) child. Get Hydrospex Jr. or Hydrospex if they have larger heads. As a coach for a K - 12 club team, I've seen the massive discomfort young kids have with goggles. Hyrdospecx are by far the most comfortable for kids.

I swim under water often and wear contacts. Love the Vanq 2.0!
These are the first goggle that seem to keep water out of my eyes when I go upside down underwater. I like to do flips underwater and swim like I am an airplane even at my age. The rec center I visit as all have a LOT of chlorine in the water and I wear contacts while swimming in order to be able to see since I enjoy swimming under water. I can't have chlorine in my contacts because I remember being a kid and just opening my eyes under the water all of the time and ending up with halo's around lights and such. These goggle keep the water out real well....in fact I don't remember these ones leaking at all. I have purchased various versions of Speedo goggles and these are my favorites. The only complaint I would have is that the coating on the inside breaks down after about a month of decent use in the chlorinated rec center pool. I take extreme care to keep water out of the insides....very very much so. If chlorinated water gets on the inside there will be a blurry spot, if you dip them in the pool water (chlorine) it will leave even more on the next use. If you wipe them with anything it will leave tiny scratches even using a cleaning cloth such as those for corrective lenses (glasses). I had tried on one of my old sets to clear out the scratches using various methods available on the net and that did not help. If you are an active swimmer in highly chlorinated pools you should be aware of that. The product manual does warn against chlorinated water affecting the coating inside. I also have longer eye lashes that tend to touch the lenses sometimes on the inside as I blink. This adds to them being done after about a month or two. I swim about 2-4 times in a week or about 8-16 times a months. The banding on these ones are also my favorites. If you like them tight, you can, and they will stay tight...they will not pull out of the banding system to come loose like some of this brands other versions or other goggles I remember as a kid.I am not a fan of the tinted versions due to my own opinion on light filtering. The ones I did use that were colored or tinted were not something I wanted in the end and were only bought because of availability in the store I was in.This review was in no way influenced by an source other than my own use of this specific model the Vanquisher 2.0.

These are good goggles and well worth the price
I have seen many positive reviews on these goggles and I agree with them. They suction well and easily without leaving much marking around the eyes. For me this is unusual since I have a very narrow face and have a great deal of difficulty with fitting things like goggles and glasses. The interchangeable nose piece is what allowed such a good fit. They did not leak or fog up and were comfortable. The only reason I did not give 5 stars (I would give 4.5 if possible) is because I found putting the new nose piece and securely snapping it in to be rather difficult. I had to play with it for quite a while to get it to snap in. Other than that they were great and I highly recommend them. The one caveat is that I have not used them long so I do not know how all this holds up over time. As they were very inexpensive I am not too worried about that.

Excellent quality
Excellent product. Nose bridge was not easy to change but doable without breaking the plastic.

Interior coating gets permanently clouded almost immediately
The anti-fog coating on the interior surface of the goggles got permanently clouded the first time I used them. I bought the non-mirrored version because the last two pair of mirrored Vanquisher 2.0 goggles I bought had the mirrored coating degrade after only a month or two of use, but these are by far the worst. I think Speedo has lost the formula for coating their goggles.I bought a pair of Tyr goggles and also some Amazon Basics goggles (which look identical to these Speedo goggles) at the same time as these and have used each pair for several workouts. So far both of them are doing great, and they both cost less than the Speedos. I'm done buying Speedo goggles!

Vanquisher 2.0 is nice
I had the original Vanquisher for a number of years. Then tried other brands and styles. I cam back to the Vanquisher but this time 2.0. The seals seem nicer, although maybe just they are new. In any case, I don't have to set these too tight and they fit my bigger than average head. I used the largest nose piece. Vision is good. I use these indoors so chose the clear lenses. I hope the anti-fog lasts long. Recommended!
