10/10 recommended
Great for winters & summers. Some of my mobile home windows aren’t very sealed so this helps keep the outside anir out. And the inside air in. You can barely tell it’s there almost invisible!!!

Good Solution for Old Windows
We have a very old farmhouse that we are slowly remodeling and renovating. There are so many windows in the house so replacing them all is not an option right now. We sought this product out to help with a temporary solution as we slowly begin replacing windows. The directions were easy to follow and installation was not difficult at all. They fit our windows well considering some are longer than the average. We were able to do 10 windows in less than an hour. Can barely notice the covering is there. Thick and does reduce drafts. We also have two rooms that we currently are not using so we sealed the entryways and that also helped conserve heat. Will be purchasing more to finish up this project.

Good value for the money
The plastic works well but one of the sheets did rip when I was putting it up. I would purchase it again, just be careful

Tight fit, but works great
The fit is tight, but it definitely does the trick. When installing, remember to put the tape on the inside of the window frame. We wasted the first one trying to put it on the outside. Good note is, we only had to do 3 windows, so we still had plenty. The 2 rooms were the coolest in the house. Seems as though no heat goes to them 2 rooms. After installing, we now sweat in those rooms. We added a strip of masking tape to the outside of the frame for good measure cause we could still feel a little air coming in.

Why can’t they offer more sizes?
I have a love/hate relationship with this stuff. I love the cost savings. I hate, hate, hate the application. Did I mention HATE?! The size of sheets did not fit a single window in my house. Most homes built in the last 30 years were designed with larger windows. I had to tape together 2 different pieces for EVERY window. It was supremely annoying and it made us run out of tape before we had used all the pieces. After piecing together two pieces we had a ton of extra to cut off, which ticked me off. What do I do with the extra? Do I buy more tape and piece together 3 to 4 pieces so I don’t have to waste the extra?I guess I could buy the giant door version that costs 4 times as much?! Which is stupid because the whole reason to buy this stuff is for the cost savings!! If they offered a size that actually fits regular windows I would increase my rating. As it stands, the best I can say about this stuff is it works but it’s a nightmare to apply.

Use to diminish cold and wind. When used correctly, you will see a difference. Easy to use but take your time for a pristine look.

Rip Off
The product is an absolute joke. I have few windows that still need replaced and bought this in hopes that it would at least help a little in the winter months. After cleaning off the windows, I removed the blinds and attempted to place the double-sided tape on the window, which was an absolute nightmare because it is barely adhesive. I gave it a chance thinking the heat would help once I put the thin layer of film up. I don’t know how they can call this any type of insulation though, because it’s barely as thick as the cling-wrap I have in my kitchen. After placing this dreadful product on the window, I used a heat gun to tightly stretch the flimsily film and remove the wrinkles. However, the lowest setting of heat put a hole in the cheap plastic film, which defeats the entire purpose of this. After removing this and the tape, I made another attempt. This time I kept the heat gun further away, but this did not stretch the film. After multiple attempts, I was unable to use the product as advertised. The weak film would either rip or not stretch and the double-sided tape could barely hold itself on the window. This is one of the worst products I have ever attempted to use, and the company should be embarrassed to put this on the market. I have two boxes of this imitation insulator kit that are going in the garbage. Thank you, Frost King, for wasting my time and stealing $34.76 from me.
