Pair of 5LB Aftermarket (Non-OEM) Resistance Bands for Soloflex Muscle Machine + 303 Aerospace Protectant Sample and Microfiber Cleaning Cloths

These bands aren't quite as stiff as the original Soloflex bands. Which in my opinion, is a good thing. I know this is a review for the 5 lb bands, but please here me out. There are times when I need the resistance of a 10 lb strap on the butterfly attachment, but the originals can be a little stiff to the point that I can't get the full range of motion. When that happens I use one of their 10 lb resistance bands instead to get a similar resistance. I'm then able to get the full range of motion. They have worked great for me in addition to the original bands. I'm 43 years old and am probably in the best shape of my life. Also, remember the weight shown on the bands are simply a guideline. Meaning that a 10 lb resistance band may not be the same as 10 lbs of free weights. Just makes it easier to keep track of your progress. I hear people complaining about that on reviews for all types of resistance bands. It's just a guideline people…..if you want precise pound by pound resistance then get free weights.

I haven't had them very long but have used them 15 times or so and they seem very good. Arrived on time and the stated weight resistance seems accurate.

These are replacing some of my Solo flex brand bands - Solo flex bands are better quality BUT- are higher than these aftermarket ones —and these AREN’T cheap !! But we’ve got to have them - and they know it !!! I did like the little bottle of “lubricant” with a cloth they send - for applying to the bands when they aren’t being used regularly - nice touch I thought bc they didn’t ‘have’ to do it .
