RubiesWomen's Novelty Parasol

I bought this for costume use only. It is as described (small diameter parasol with a longer handle). This feels flimsy and I don't think will be very durable. I would not recommend this for a younger child to use, I think they would tear it up. The shaft is pink metal and has a foam hand hold. Some of the caps can come off of the spokes, so check before opening umbrella. My umbrella tends to twist around the shaft when opened and I have to line the notch and tab back up to keep it closed. Works great for what it is intended for, costume use ONLY!

First off, the parasol was exactly what I'm looking for to go with my princess peach costume.Of course it's flimsy, it's a novelty item. It's not meant for more than a prop.The reason for the 4 star rating though, is that it isn't the same parasol pictured on the listing. It still fits my costume, but that's not the point.Also, the price went down 10$ the day after I ordered and I'm salty about it.

This parasol worked perfectly for my Haunted Mansion Parasol Girl costume! I do have to take one star away for the the handle being curved like on a regular umbrella and not straight as shown in the product picture. The handle is very long and the parasol circumference is small which made it perfect for my costume. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase! Great Amazon find!

We purchased a few parasols to use on stage. A couple of them are a little hard to open and close.

I just love this little parasol with it's long handle! I had one before and it met it's end, unfortunately, so this is the second one I've bought. I use it as a costume accessory and for a sun shade. I embellish it with a cute trim along the edges so it blows in the wind and matches my outfit. The diameter isn't very big so its definitely a 1 person parasol, but for a cutesy look, it's just perfect! The last one I got had a curled handle and this one has a foam one without the curl so it can't hang up. I remedied that by tying a nice sturdy ribbon to the handle so it can be hung up or attached to a hook. Very happy with my purchase :)

Way too expensive for what it is. Also, has a curved handle, not the straight one shown. I returned it.

Great product, agree that it's a little flimsy, but if used for a costume, then it will work perfectly. Please note that the long handle DOES NOT FOLD, only the umbrella portion folds up. So the folded dimension is 33" long.
