Cosmetics Derigueur Sodium Bentonite Clay Powder

As a African American with naturally dry hair and a itchy scalp this product helped me a lot my scalp felt really clean. I also used it as a face mask

I used it for my hair. It's okay. It was messy to use, I think I may have not used it correctly.

I use this on my 4B/C hair. I really love how it makes my curl pattern come through. I find it mixes best if you put a few tablespoons in a plastic bowl and add just enough distilled water to cover the powder. Mix it up a bit. Then let it sit for 30-60 minutes and let the powder absorb the water. Then I add more water and repeat until it's the consistency I want. You really don't need a lot of powder - which makes it last longer.

Not a bad clay but I like Redmonds Clay better for my hair.

I washed my hair with this tonight and my hair responded very well! I did not mix it, according to the package, so it wasn't very thick. I added olive oil, lavender oil, and aloe juice. I shook it up in a squirt bottle and applied it. My hair is thick and chemical free. I have a new shampoo. I am VERY pleased. The lavender gives my scalp a nice tingle and the clay cleansed without stripping my hair.

Very hard to use if following the instructions. The clay did not smooth out and quickly dried before and while applying it to my hair. I will try one more time to work with it.

Never having ordered bentonite clay before, I have no comparison to other brands. However, I'm extremely happy with the quality of this product. I've made several different masks so far, and have wonderful results. My skin and hair feel so soft and truly purified after using. It will definitely become a staple for me.
