Great to have
Wanted this so that in the morning when I am on my deck studying my bible I can put my coffee in the Carafe and not have to run back and forth to the kitchen. Great for entertaining.

This DOES NOT keep liquids hot
This is the worst item I have ever purchased from Amazon. I thought I was not using this correctly so I made sure the top was always closed tightly, no matter what I did this carafe would not keep liquids hot, the would be barely warm after two hours. Since I live in the mountains and the ambient air pressure is different, I tried putting boiling water into it first to heat up the carafe, it didn't work any betterMaybe it is only good keeping items cold, but I doubt it

Keeps liquid hot for hours
Keeps water hot for hours. The design is great. The spout makes it easy to pour and the container holds lots of liquid. I broke my leg and with this pot I don't have to keep going to the kitchen for a refill. I could see using this in office.

I LOVE everything about my new coffee dispenser, from the pale blue color to pour control to temperature retention ability. I work at Cafe Java full time and use it every day I work. I get so many compliments on it from customers!

Bought to use in my spa to have warm water available in each room. Works perfectly! Water stayed perfect temp for over 8 hours! I don't know exactly how long it keeps the temp because I am always dumping it out at the end of the day and it's still perfectly warm!
