Small, might be good for small pieces of wood or small bundles but not everyday use
I had been using a flexible plastic laundry bin for a long while to bring in wood to my house. I was hopeful that this would make carrying fire wood easier but ultimately it is too small for what I need it to do. My home is heated by wood and I need to bring in loads of wood almost daily during the winter. I wanted my laundry basket back and do not always have the time to gear up in order to bring in lots of wood. I wanted this carrier to be able to bring in a nights worth of wood quickly and it just does not do that for me. Even with 18" pieces of wood, quartered or better it only carries about 6-8 pieces depending on the size. When you need about 3 to 4 to start a fire it just does not carry enough. I usually can bring carry more in my arms than in this carrier. I would return it but it is now considered used. Oh well, lesson learned.

Excellent buy
While I gave it as a gift I found that it was an excellent buy at a reasonable price. It folds to a compact size to store easily.

Nice carrier!
This is a efficiently light weight log carrier. I have larger ones with the ends sewn in but they are heavy and cumbersome for hauling a few sticks of wood into the house. I wanted this one for that purpose and also because I saw a photo of someone using one to carry long logs too. I have some of those that need to be carried to the saw horses to cut to the right length. My other slings can't do that with the sewn ends. This also folds up nicely to stow away So this is the "In House" sling. The big ones can be the woodshed slings! I got a kick out of the fire starter. I think I will put it in the 4 wheel drive glove box...it may save a life someday!
