I bought these for my husband. He really likes them and endores them. So much so, I'm now glad I am in possession of a fire extinguisher as a safety precaution.

Not what I thought. The flint was rope but other than that, they work.

They are a kinda neat little device. They do work as advertised. That being said, you get what you pay for. They are clearly cheap made. Mostly cheap plastic. You have to be careful filling them and screwing the match back in. Still 5 for $15 isn’t bad. They will work in a pinch and if nothing else they do strike very well. I wouldn’t trust it as your only fire making device but if you get your lighter wet or lose it then it would be a good back up. Worth filling and tossing in your bug out bag or camping pack.

Note to self: Read reviews before buying. Many reviews noted these leak and have bad wicks. The ones I received leak and have bad wicks that burn up even after just a couple of seconds even when fully saturated with lighter fluid. My guess is there's some synthetic fiber in them, not 100% cotton. They do spark and light well... so well that the leaking fuel caught the whole thing and my hand on fire. How I didn't notice the fuel leak I don't know. User stupidity on my part. Anyway, these suck. Don't buy them

We like these they came in handy

I brought lighter fluid and tested the product it worked well. It took one strike to light. Very satisfied.

The product works but it takes a few strikes to get it going.

It’s a great concept but I didn’t know you needed lighter fluid and I burned my finger trying to put it out the way it shows. Besides that the string burns out on one light and needs to be replaced. Really not worth it at all.
