Outstanding Fishing Rod – Exceptional Performance!
I am thoroughly impressed with this fishing rod! It’s amazing and brilliantly designed and recently caught a massive 3.5 kg trout with ease. Setting it up was a breeze and took hardly any time. The reel works incredibly smoothly too making my every fishing experience enjoyable.Absolutely fantastic value for money – I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient fishing rod!

Nice versatile travel rod
I bought this for a trip to Greece this year and had fun with some float fishing a spinning. It is a very versatile rod with a large number of different configurations and with the addition of the 4 tips you have a lots of setup options depending on the conditions and what you are looking to try and catch. It seems solidly made, a nice weight to it, and all sections slotted togethor easily but also gave me confidence that they were not going to work loose. A criticism of other travel rods I have bought over the years is that the quality of the eyes and how they are fixed to the rod is very often poor quality meaning that they habitually go in the bin after a couple of trips/years - but the eyes on this rod seem to be of good quality and are anchored well so I am very please with that.Very compact (44cm) case so very useful for travelling and with the ability to land fish up to 20lb the X5 Max will go with me on all my trips now. I cannot comment on its longevity as I have only used it for 1 weeks fishing but it feels solid so if looked after it should last for years.

Should be twice the price!
As I write this I am 7 days into a river cruise on the Shannon in Ireland and this rod has enabled me catch a great variety of fish. Given that space was limited on the boat to 1 tackle box, a rod and landing net after researching an all rounder travel rod the Rigged and Ready X5 looked too good to be true. It really is an all rounder! In 7 days of fishing I have caught Pike, perch, roach, hybrids trout and some bream using a variety of techniques, ledgering, spinning, drop shot, jigging, float and of course fly and all have been productive. Is it a 5 star package, nearly as it is compromised right from the get go for being an all rounder but when you think about it from the value and quality of the product for a £100 travel rod that can enable you to fish and catch in almost any situation It has to be 5 stars. Yesterday for example was my best fishing day ever in terms of fun, ledgering at breakfast produced a nice bream and several roach, stopped for lunch and ledgering didn't produce so switched to spinning with a mepps and got a perch and a jack pike. Another change of pace later as we waited for a lock to use a drop shot gave us another couple of perch (using savage gear drop shot perch kit). After the lock I changed the setup and trolled for pike while we cruised to our next location, hooked a 10lb pike. After parking up in the evening in a place called Shannon bridge we used a jig and soft bait and grabbed a trout and a few perch but at about 9pm there was an amazing rise for the fly. 10 minutes later after a change to a fly rig we were casting fairly well and presenting a fly decently enough to catch 4 trout. How can this rod be anything but 5 stars? Put the right tackle on it and it will produce and the action is decent enough to have fun!I load the reel with power pro braid and have a variety of fluorocarbon and monofilament sections in my tackle box with some trace. The fly setup is nothing special using middle of road WF fly line but together there are not many fish I couldn’t catch. The rod really Works well setup for LRF and spinning, top marks here and compares to my LRF rod that cost more than this package. Ledgering and float is slightly clunky but is perfectly useable, for float I had to use more weight than I would like to get a decent cast but it still produced. Using the rod for fly is a bit of an achilles heal and I found casting at first a challenge as the action was not consistent however 20 minutes of bonding with the rod and I can drop a fly where I wanted 8 times out of 10. Now my problem is distance as I would prefer a slightly longer cast however that could be me rather than the rod. After 7 days of hard work I see no quality issues and I would highly recommend this rod if you need a quick fishing fix any where in the world! Well done team, great product, great price..... Happy customer!

Amazing bit of kit!
I purchased the X5 Adventure and the RR3000 reel.Coming from 2 piece rods I was a little bit sceptical but I have to say this thing is amazing! I cannot recommend it enough. Not only does it feel solid, it honestly compares to traditional 2 piece rods so little to no compromise.I have now used this is rivers and the sea and it performs great. This feels more unbreakable than my 2 piece rods, but this one packs down into a very small tube so perfect for travel. After the order I was interested in a few additional items and Andy (Riggy) has also provided me with great support and I cant thank him enough. In this day and age its amazing to find a company with values like this.If anyone reading this is questioning whether to purchase, take it from me you will not be disappointed. One happy customer,Jamie

Perfect travel rod that is robust and capable
I love this rod. Perfect for camping and backpacking up mountains and fishing the tarns. Taken it on rivers and even caught large pike and it handles it no problem. I'm a very novice fly fisherman but enjoyed playing around and practicing the different fishing styles at my disposal due to this awesome rod .I had a slight issue with the first eye terminal as the rubber around the eyelet fell out and was lost.Because of the two year no questions asked guarantee they sent out a replacement piece next day after a quick email. Perfect customer service with an outstanding rod perfect for a beginner or veteran fishermen!

Good travel rod
After first use I can say these rods are without doubt much better than any telescopic travel rod. It also appears to be dual use for fly and spinning. I was doubtful if it's fly fishing capabilities to be honest but after a mess around I came across a configuration that allowed the fly reel to be mounted further back and a tip that worked. I managed casts out to the 40 - 50 yard range after trying various weights fly lines. I found lines of around #5 or #6 to be best. I used a #7 large arbor reel as I had that to hand with fresh line fitted. As for spinning, I found 4 variations that suited it well, casting lures from 3 grams to 30 grams with ease and accuracy. Considering what this rod costs, it would be hard to find fault with any configuration and use. It can easily be used as a float or ledger rod too. Of course the biggest benefit is when you disassemble the rod and the length goes to around 40cm which makes for easy packing and travelling.
