I purchased these collars for my cats, let's call them Gray and Orange. Both cats go outside fairly frequently and are not declawed. I received the collars a little less than two months ago, and they seemed good.Gray went outside and came back having lost his, presumably because it snagged on something. It is nice to know the breakaway feature works, but his collar probably would not be lost if it were made of faux leather or silicone. It will be a huge nuisance to replace his Smart Tag, which was attached to the collar.Orange has obliterated his from everyday scratching, as shown in the photo. Again, this happened in a matter of weeks.I do not disagree that these collars are super cute; however, if your cats sometimes hang out in brush or have claws and scratch themselves -- i.e., if your cat is a cat -- then these are not a great purchase.

This collar is adorable. I was afraid it was too small at first (she’s kind of a full figured gal). When I tried to get it over her head she looked like she was coming out of the birth canal and her eyes got super wide. Once it was on it was fine. I like the bell as she hides at times and it makes it easier to find her. Check out her pic. She’s trying to show it off. So cute!

The clasp (where the breakaway is) dangles loose around the rest of the collar. Nothing keeps it in place. What keeps the collar tight is the adjustable ladder lock which won't break away. When the cat gets caught and pulls, the collar tightens around the cat's neck. This collar will kill cats!

These were not made correctly, and judging by the rave reviews they must have switched to a lower cost supplier without verifying the product first. These are not break-away, though they have a clip. Unsnapping the clip does nothing. You can't even get them over the head of your cat (even one with as small as mine has) because they were sewn to the wrong attachment point, not that you would want to because it wouldn't "break away" anyways and your cat can die hung up on something.

My car wore this collar for about 3 months before it frayed. The design was cute but I can't recommend this product.

The collar tightens itself around a cat's neck. It has nothing to hold the sizing in place, so there's nothing to prevent it from constricting a cat's throat.I bought much cheaper collars that had a small plastic piece to hold the sizing in place. Even though I loved the patterns on these, I just can't use them.

I didn’t realize I got two collars for the price listed so that was a pleasant surprise! My cat tears up collars quickly, and just as I figured, she demolished the first one within two weeks. I’ll probably have to opt for something leather, but in the meantime I have a spare! Shipping was quick and they collars are super cute...just make sure you have a lazy cat that doesn’t tear things up like mine does.

These are really cute cat collars for the price. I've paid way more in the big box stores. My cats don't go outdoors but I want them to have collars with name tags and microchip info in case they get out.These seem to clasp securely unlike others I've bought. There's even a little bell to let you know when they're coming. And I love the colorful designs, though I doubt my cats care. : ) Not sure how durable these would be for outdoor cats but they seem fine for inside use.

Is there a part missing to make the collar lie flat? Or is a design fault? When you adjust the collar to fit, it results in a big loop sticking out of rage collar - see right hand side of picture. I thought it would flatten down when I put it on my cat, but it doesn’t. This means she is walking about with a big hoop sticking out to the side of her neck, which could be a serious risk if she catches it on an object e.g. a twig.This problem could be easily rectified by the manufacturer making a small retaining strap to allow the collar to lie flat. As it currently is, I feel it is a risk to my cat’s safety and she will not be wearing it.
