While the book contains good information it is definitely an advertisement for the clematis he's brought to market. There ate many other clematis that could have been mentioned but weren't whole I'd wager each of his were.Somewhat useful though

This book has helped me with planting, pruning, care, of my Clematis. Also with placing them in containers and small areas to grow them. One of the must have books if you plan to grow these awesome plants called Clematis!

Loved this book, so informative, written in a perfect orderly way and easy to go back and find whatever you want to re-read. loved it.

This book provided information on how to better cultivate the clematis I already have as well as cultivars that might work well in given situations in the future. I had two of Raymond Evison's Patio series in pots on my deck, and both had done very well in terms of flowering this spring but then had died back once the heat came on. I found that this is possibly the result of being in too-small pots, so I have bought some larger, self-watering pots to transplant them into once conditions are right. The book is beatifully produced and the information is very helpful.

This book has much-needed info on Growing Clematis. The pictures are so beautiful and the information was excellent, I'm so glad I purchased it!

Informative on an elementary level and nice photos, but not specific enough for an experienced gardener to learn anything new. He gardens in England so the companion plants he mentions are unknown to me and possibly, even, to this country. I have found more useful information by scouring the internet and garden forums.

This is an incredibly detailed book. There is so much information provided. Excellent

This book is very detailed , all species with Botanical names ,and it identifies the 3 Types of clematis which all have different pruning techniques.However as I don't have the names of 5 out of 6 plants I have, I still cannot identify them because I can only identify them by the flowers. Whilst this book does have many pictures , probably 30% -40% do not.

Excellent book packed with all kinds of information on clematis for this side of the pond. Hope to find some in garden nurseries this year.
