A fitting farewell for a warrior.
I’ve always wondered if starclan thought of Ravenpaw and still considered him a clan member. Over the years he’s been a friend to all clans and he continued that tradition in aiding Skyclan. He is a warrior to the end, and follows the guidance of the warrior code though he is clanless and starclan honors him and his choices.I never thought of Ravenpaw and Barley as mated, but his decision not to follow Firestar and later Greystripe to the new territory now makes perfect sense. He and Barley have a good life together and I’m glad this character gives thanks to starclan for a life filled with good friends and a life companion.Worth the read!

Awesome
I loved this book. It truly shows Ravenpaws friendship with Barley. This book had me so touched that I cried at the end. However, if you don't like death, sadness, or greif, I would not recomend this. Also, I was dissapointed about (SPOILER ALERT) how Ravenpaw turned down his name, but overall, this book is great. I have read the whole series, (Yes, all of them) and this one was one of the most touching stories. would recomend this story for 8-12 year olds who are okay with slight blood, minor gore, and death. Again, great book, I loved it.

Awesome!
I think this book was an incredibly great way to see Ravenpaw’s life with Barely. I’ve always wondered what his life was when he moved away from the clans. I loved how Violets kits got to be in Skyclan. Thank you for making such an entertaining book that keeps you on your toes. BTW, I loved how he decided to wait for Barely before he went to Starclan, loved it!!!!

RAVENPAW!!
Hello young warriors, what is it you want? To here about Ravenpaw? Well I have heard about him from our leader, StormWhisper. He is a black cat with amber eyes and a white mark on his chest. And to me he sounds very happy with his life! I was sad to hear he died, and was even sadder to learn he turned down his warrior name, but he was happy to the very end, StormWhisper told me how loyal and trustworthy he is. Ah Lightning! You're here, this is my to-be Lightning That Strikes Tree, and his mother Frost That Glitters On Rock, and his father, Black Sky At Night and Blacks sister Shallow Pool Of Water, I got to go train Lightning. Frost and Black want to watch and so does Shallow good bye!Flame That Spreads Quickly of the Tribe Of Raging Storms

Lovely
As always the story was wonderful, a little rushed though. The ending had me bawling like any good book should.

A great legacy
My grandkids, age 8 &10, love this series. I started reading them just so I could share the experience with them. To my surprise, I found that I like them almost as much as they do. They recently spent a couple of weeks with us and I got this book so I could read it to them in the evening. We all gave it a two-thumbs-up, for a total of six! Grandparents, don’t miss a chance to read some of these books to your grandkids. They will remember it for the rest of their lives. And, they will probably do the same for their kids and grandkids! That would be some legacy!

Between El Cid and the Song of Roland on your book shelve.
It's amazing what a book written for 8 to 12 year olds can be such a classic of literature. The adult themes it tackles, bravery, sacrifice and even the death of a warrior, are done so with dexterity and aplomb. I am in my 60s and I cried. I still do when I want to, every time I open this book. Thank you, Erin Hunter.

Ravenpaw's Farwell
This was really good! It was completely different then I thought it would be. It was sentimental, and yet it made it just seem as it was to be.SPOILER! This book is mostly just on Ravenpaw's death, because as seen in Bramblestar's Storm, Ravenpaw's gives him one of his lives. This is the story of Tavenpaw and Barely having one last journey together to Skyclan with two new friends. (Soon to be apprentices?)

Excellent novella
I loved seeing more interaction between Ravenpaw and Barley, especially their relationship. Great novella for anyone invested in the characters.

ravenpaws farewell

Spoiler Warning
I purchased this book last night, and, due to it being a short book, I read it in under two hours.Although it felt a little rushed and the terminology was off a few times ("cuddle"- Not something we're used to), I still loved it!By the end I was in tears a bit, as it is literally a book written with the soul purpose of Ravenpaw dying, with the added bromance of his relationship with Barley. Would definitely recommend to any warriors fan.I'm not sure where in the time line it fits, as it's before Bramblestar became leader, so must be before Firestar was killed, but I suspect somewhere in the Omen of the Stars series.
