Needed this since it is exactly like one I owned before. My house doors in military housing has these handles. None of the stores around me sell it, but luckily amazon does!

Needed this little gizmo - and I mean it is petite but does the job for our NCL pocket door lock which didn't have a pull mechanism. They work great paired together. We will be buying 3 more for our other pocket doors we are putting in our home.You will need to mortise the edge of the door so be sure to have the proper tools for a good fit.

Nice product with a low profile Other similar door-pulls have a spring to keep the pull flush with the housing, but they are much deeper where the pull protrudes a lot behind the housing.

Just know what you need before ordering, there are many sizes, types, designs - no fault to the product - but was the wrong fit for us. Our fault.

After I ordered 2 of these, I read the reviews complaining about small size and the pull not hanging fully retracted. I thought I would be returning them, but when they arrived, I decided to open one and take a close look.The weight distribution does not result in a firm retraction when you let go of the "hook", but it will return to vertical and stay very close to fully retracted. They are small, and the small slot for your fingernail at the bottom is not much use, but you don't really need it, because you can expose the "hook" easily buy pushing in at the top end of the bar. The one thing they could improve is the finish. It's not the best, but the small size makes the finish defects less noticeable.Installation is a bit of a chore, but easier than others I have installed. I would buy them again.

I ordered two of these, but I only put one in and sent the other back.Functionally, it does the job, but the handle is a little too narrow for my liking. I wish that it were a bit thicker and easier to grab.What annoys me--and this is nitpicky--is that the handle isn't properly balanced so that it will sit flush with the edge of the door when it's at rest. Instead, the handle sticks out about 2mm at the very bottom. Like I said, it's nitpicky, but it's annoying.

Exactly what I wanted

The pivot point is wrong so it does not fully collapse when vertical. I bought two and didn't realize until I had already cut the slot in the doors, so it is too late and I will just live with it. But they do not go fully flush because the pivot point is not in the right place. I checked it with the second one out of the box ... it is not a plumb issue, and it is not an issue with something inside of the door interfering with the free movement it.
