Synergy Jeep JK Heat Treated Tie Rod (8002)

Synergy makes some of the best jeep parts bar none! This is a VERY strong tie rod for rock crawlers. I bent two factory tie rods on the rocks in less than a year and got this. Smashed it a few times the first ride out and it didn't so anything but scratch off a little of the powdercoating. Also uses servicable and much stronger tie rod ends. Also another HUGE benefit for me it that it fits on my JK with 15" rims!! It's the ONLY aftermarket tie rod that will fit on 15's on a JK. The key is though is that you need a wide offset rim. I'm running MB 72's with 3.75" backspacing.

EXCELLENT! The only complaint I have is that the alignment shop tore up the paint a little on my brand new install while setting the toe.This has led to me purchasing the High Steer Drag Link and a rear Trackbar, also from Synergy. Excellent quality, packing, and install was cake.

Great product! Recommend buying to anti-sag tie rod end boots. Works great together.

Very heavy duty. They have taken a few good hit no problems so far. The only thing I would caution a buyer on is to keep an eye on the ball joint boots after you grease them. The springs that hold the boot on could stand to be a little stronger. However with the right amount of grease they are fine. But on the first grease fill its hard to judge how much is in there. Other than that these are excellent!

This tie rod is super beefy and so much heavier than stock. Steering is a lot tighter now matched with the drag link.

Beefy upgrade for a weak stock JK tie rod. Installation instructions are straightforward, and the unit is simple to install if you are mechanically inclined. I did have an issue with one of the castle nuts on the driver side not wanting to seat deep enough to get the cotter pin installed correctly, but this is likely due to manufacturing variations and not Synergy's fault. BFH will make it fit.NOTE: This tie rod will sit lower than the stock tie rod, and sits lower than other aftermarket products that I have seen. If you are running Reid Racing knuckles this will not be a problem, but the stock knuckle tie rod mounting location combined with this tie rod may create clearance issues in some situations.

Solid. Even though it’s the same OD as stock. You can tell the quality is what you would expect from synergy

Update 23 Feb 2018.All my synergy ends or joints are shot within 1 year on the tie rod and drag link. I did 3 wheeling trips in Colorado and put about 17K miles on my Jeep in that time. Very disappointed in the “quality”I personally believe there are much better product on the market and have switched to Fusion4x4/Rare Parts
