Compatible Soft Top Roof Protector Half Cover for Porsche Boxster 987

Fits perfectly on my 2007 Porsche Boxster S. It comes with a nice case that has a small footprint and fits nicely out of the way in the trunk while not in use. I used it today and it kept the interior of the car fairly cool considering how hot it gets without the cover. The cover is made from high quality materials and has a waterproof underlining. The interior of the cover also has felt pressure pads that keep it from rubbing your paint or convertible top.The cover is really easy to put on the car. I didn’t use all the anchors (the ones that go in between the doors), because it takes some effort and coordination to do so. I might spend the time using them if parking in a windy location, but it stayed in place perfectly just using the side mirror straps, the back trunk lid anchor, and the wiper downforce.I’ll report back with any updates after I’ve had the product for a few months. I’m vacationing in Florida for the next few weeks, so that should be a good test in the harsh elements.

The quality is good overall. Stitching is good and the material is thicker than expected. The magnetic strips sewn inside the edges are a nice feature. The velcro strap under the side mirror is easy to use and I will recommend this for somebody looking to protect the top indoors or out.I will mention this about magnetic edges in general. They have the potential to put microscopic scratches in the finish with repeated use over time.This is a well made product . The fit could be better but that will not effect the function. The magnets could have just been weights which would have eliminated the scratch hazard . I hope this helps.
