I was so excited to get these for a guest bedroom redo. I thought they were going to be the perfect solution for light near the bed. Being LED would mean they wouldn’t get hot, and being corded with a switch meant no hard wiring.I could not have been more disappointed.First off, installation is the biggest pain. I’d actually say pretty close to impossible unless you invest in one of those snake-like drill bits that can get in tight, inconvenient places. Even then, I’m not sure. You mount a metal bracket to the wall, then line the holes in the side of the fixture up with the holes in the side of the bracket and place a tiny screw in each side. The screw holes are pretty much flush with the wall, so getting them screwed in, whether with a drill or a screwdriver, is ridiculously difficult.Second, there are so many wires and cords and components shoved inside the box that gets mounted, it is very difficult to keep everything inside the box while trying to mount it vertically on the wall. Every time I would finically get the screw holes lined up, wires or components would dangle out requiring me to undo it, shove everything back in, and attempt again. Once I finally got everything mounted, it turns out the tiny screws that go in the side of the fixture into the bracket don’t hold the fixture tight. So it wouldn’t stay flush to the wall, and instead, the top tilts out and looks awful.Third, and possibly most important, after less then 2 minutes of the fixtures being on, the silver part (which houses all the wires and components behind) got extremely hot to the touch. LED lights should not put off heat like that. But if the outside of the fixture was that hot, imagine how hot the wiring and inside was. Very dangerous.

These are almost too bright... you can't look directly at them. They were super easy to install. Once I figure out how to hide the cords they will look much better. One big complaint I have is that they put some sort of adhesive protector over the metal front part and it did not peel off, I will have to purchase goo gone or something to get it off.

I was looking for a wall light with cord for a narrow area by an exterior door in my bedroom, as I wanted to use the area for regular ironing, and there was no ceiling light. The light doesn't protrude, which allows me to open an adjacent closet door without impediment, and the light provides good lighting where it was previously somewhat dark. Installed easily and looks nice. Like the fact that it's an LED for a very reasonable price.

I thought they would have that yellow hue. I could have bought all white ones, but chose these for that look. Still very nice.

Love them! We needed them for a dark area for ambiance lighting. They look great. Perfect brightness and look much more expensive than they were.

This product is too bright and much whiter than I expected. The worst part about this, though, is that the metal mount overheats to the point where I cannot trust it on without me in the room. The heat causes something to off-gas after being on for 15min or so, which causes a very pungent odor to percolate throughout the room - sleeping into the halls as well. The odor is so strong it can hurt your throat. These lights are hazardous. They look nice though haha.

I expected the item to be whit bright an not sun light which is yellow.
