Great Grinder
I purchased this grinder for my husband for Christmas. He loves it! We processed a 125 pound deer with the grinder without a problem. It is lightweight, but it really did a great job of grinding the deer. We made deer hamburger meat and sausage. It was so easy to assemble and operate. It was also very easy to clean. I would recommend this little grinder to everyone.

Don't put the blade in backwards!
I like how easy to operate it! I use it for my raw feeding diet for my German shepherds.

Professional butcher
I spent several years working in a butcher shop, using a monstrous industrial grinder, so I wasnt sure what to expect with a small tabletop grinder.Build quality: it has a strong(ish) but cheaply built motor, which works GREAT when used as directed(grind for a few minutes, then turn it off and let it sit for a bit, I overheated my first one but got a replacement) but dont expect it to pull meat off of beef rib bones like an expensive grinder would do. I was fairly disappointed(but not enough to subtract a full star) with actual finish of the small parts. The surfaces should have been much smoother(particularly in the feed neck, photo included) but I'm a fairly decent machinist so I smoothed it all out, which will make it easier to clean and less prone to rust.Aesthetics: it was surprisingly small, which is great for folks like me with too many cooking things and not enough kitchen. It doesnt look cheap and seems to be put together well.Ability: if you're a big time hunter that makes mostly grind, this may not be for you, it simply will take too kind long with the cool down cycles. Personally, I make most of my game meat into steaks and roasts, and only do about 20 pounds of it for grind, so for me it was fantastic. Great for people that make their own grinds only occasionally.I have yet to use any of the kibbe or sausage attachments, so I'll update this when I eventually make sausage. Some pro tips: cold is your friend! You want whatever your grinding to be nearly frozen, it just works better in any grinder. Make small pieces, I generally aim for 2inch cubes. Put all the grinder parts in your freezer, it will help keep everything cold for longer(small electric motor, cold is your friend!) I generally throw the feed neck and grinder bits in for an hour so before I grind. Lastly, the most common mistake I see, PUT THE BLADE ON PROPERLY!!! The cutting edge needs to against the grinder plate!!!All that said, I'm giving 5 stars because for less than 80 bucks, and learning to properly use it, it kicks ass!
