Department 56 Village Winter Birch Wrapped Wire (Set of 6)

I purchased these birch treee to give some extra variety to my Alpine village that I keep on a bookshelf. For me, they are the ideal sizes. One of the two largest trees had the snow base popped off, but I was able to reattach it with no problem. I like that you can shape the branches according to your preference. All in all, a great set of Department 56 trees.

These trees are beautiful and sturdy. I returned them as they were too large for my project but I would’ve kept them if my project scale had been different. Nice color and well made.

It took me about 5-7 minutes per tree to unfold and mold them. One was crooked in the footing mold and came out, I think they are just glued in the footing. I was able to stick it back in and it sticks, but may user a hot glue gun later to glue it back in.

These trees are almost what we needed, but will still be using them as will work. Being used at a wedding reception in October, but are just a little too short; however we can make them work by building up the base they will be in. Package did arrive quickly and as described. We just weren't quite sure about how tall of a tree we needed, our "mis-measurement"!!

I made gem trees out of them … sprayed paint some to give it that extra touch ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very disappointing. They were not at all as pictured. Instead of being wire wrapped with white paper or something (to give a birch-like effect), they were wire with a few globs of white paint. They were new in the box, so I don't know what happened because they do not look like the picture on the box, either. Has Dept 56 changed manufacturers? It's the only time I've ever had this type of problem with a Dept 56 purchase. I returned them.

I bought these for my daughters wedding. They were very small, I know they said 7”-12” but they look even smaller in person, than I expected. They come in a very small box and are all together at first, you have to separate the branches yourself, which isn’t a big deal, I need to work with them a good bit more to make them look sorta okay, they just look so cheap and poorly made. I wouldn’t buy again. Need to returnThey may be okay for miniature hobbies, but not for weddings.
