Definitely need a 6" spool!
After a few years of sun, the original winch strap for my 21' boat was faded and the hook was about to give up the ghost. After some research, I found this replacement to be best suited for a boat this size (and probably larger) due to it being heavy duty. It was quite easy to replace the old strap but you will definitely need at least a 6" spool. I wrapped it tightly by hand and it fills the spool full (but not TOO full). After using it a couple of times now, it has tightened down more on the spool so there's more room. I definitely recommend this one - even the ones I found from marine supply stores weren't quite this nice and heavy duty!

Looks durable and should hold up well
I bought this to replace my existing strap on my boat winch, appears to be durable, stitching looks good. No complaints, I haven't used it yet but I don't anticipate any issues.

works to pull up boat nice product old strap was 15 yrs old for this kind of money cant afford to have old strap break at the launch on a busy sunday afternoon piss everyone else off

Best value, best product.
bright color catches your eye to remind you to attach or detach boat! have certainly put boat in before without fully detaching from trailer. Really heavy duty hook, with chromate plating which should hold up to better that standard coatings to salt water.Only wish I could have gotten a shorter strap of same design.

Heavy Duty Strap
Used for boat trailer winch. Bought another one before this that was 4k rating and wasn't as thick as what was on their originally. This was much closer and rated 10k. Time will only tell how it does with sun/environment degradation. I think it will hold up well. Long 25' length isn't needed for this application, but fits on the reel.

Awesome winch strap
My winch strap failed after several years so I ordered a replacement strap. It was delivered very timely at a reasonable price. It appears to be stronger than my original strap.

Just what I was looking for.
Bought this to replace the original strap on the winch for my boat after the stitching came apart and let go while loading the boat the last time I had her out. The strap has 4 times the max load of my old strap and almost triple the working load so hopefully that will never happen again. Also the stiching goes back on the strp much further than the old. The strap went onto the winch with no issues and fit fully on the drum though the strap is quite a bit longer than the old one. All in all a great strap for the money.
