Paired with an eGO 15" trimmer, this is unbeatable!
I bought this as the first string after the built-in string included with my new eGO 15" trimmer ran out. I went through that string far too fast, so I wanted something stronger. After doing my homework, I decided to purchase this. This string is amazing. It doesn't break. It wears out evenly, is easy to work with when winding it around the spool and to cut, and has changed the way I trim my lawn. That's not an exaggeration, as I have been using electric trimmers for decades, but I find that I have to relearn how to trim with a very strong trimmer, and string that is up to the task. I have to be careful when tapping the trimmer on the ground to let out string, as I could leave a bald spot in my lawn! I have left string marks on my fence posts from this string. The trimmer literally throws grass everywhere...4-8 feet from where it is cut. I joke that I'm worried I could cut down my deck! But seriously, it can cut half-inch thick woody weeds without breaking. It is easy to cut around rocks and with care can reach under bushes without cutting them down. I love this string.

Fantastic, durable string for edging with string trimmer.
I was looking for a string that was very durable for edging with my Echo SRM-225 trimmer. I use the trimmer mainly for edging the yard and bullet landscape edgers, and a little bit for weed trimming. This stuff is fantastic. The string provided by Echo in the trimmer worn down very quickly when edging and I constantly had to tap out more line. This stuff is incredible. I could edge the entire sidewalk and yard edge without having to tap out more string. I highly recommend this string if you need to edge. (I am a research freak and spent hours researching the best string line for edging.)

Enough to last 30 years!
This string is tough. I have decently thick grass with some tree line on my property and this string beats up the trees if you get too close. Cheap string I could hit the tree and nothing would happen, but with this string I'm scared to damage my trees. The shape does make a slight difference in vibration. My arms still vibrate for 10 mins after running the weedeater for a while, but that might just be old age kicking in? But it's not as bad as it was with plain string line. The roll of line is so long that if you only cut your grass and aren't a commercial landscaper, it should last you almost as long as your mortgage, lol. Amazing line. Great price. Very impressed with this product.I've been a homeowner for a decade and have used many trim lines (at least a dozen or so). This is the best that I personally have used so far. Your mileage may vary. Ensure you have the correct diameter line before purchase!

Toughest Trimmer Cord on the Market
This is the TOUGHEST trimmer cord on the market. Works great if you are trimming around chain link fence, concrete slabs or any construction material. Do not use on the bases of trees unless you don't mind a little damage to the bark. It works fantastic on heavy weeds and light brush. I use this on a Stihl Commercial trimmer and this line is so tough that I rarely have to stop and fill my spool. Highly recommend!!

Not For the Texas Hill Country
This line doesn't last anywhere near as long as commercial orange line of the exact same size. I use it on an Echo DRM 225 weed-eater, and mow along fences and rocky areas that define the TX country. I mow approx. 3 of our 9 acres and am an adept mower, and I had to change line 3 times for one tank a gas, while the orange stuff(can't recall brand) seldom requires a line change per tank of gas. It might be great for manicured lawns, but if you have rocks, fences, and tough weeds found in the Hill Country - you're better off with something else. This stuff can't hold up under tough mowing conditions.

look else where/ slow shipping/ had to take guard off
I've used ugly line for ten plus years and the past year or so they have changed their product to where it leaves pieces in all my clients yards and I go through twice as fast as well as their customer service went down hill. so I figured give this line a try since everyone says how good it is. well at first I literally could not trim with this line. every time I released more string it went rite back to being to short, and that's due to the bend in it. yes I did soak it. now I did finally figure out a way to get myself to trim efficiently with this string and that was by taking the guard of my brand new top of the line husquavarna trimmer, which I really preferred not to. I know most landscape company's do take the guards of but I don't believe you should have to in order to get this string to work. I really recommend looking else where or buying small samples first and trying them and going from there that's what I'm doing from now on. also the amount of time it took to get the string in was ridiculous. it took over a week. they should at least give you options for faster shipping.

Stretchy, weak, do NOT buy.
First off, I must say that I had done professional lawn care for about 5 years, and have done miles and miles worth of property trimming. I've used many different kinds of trimmer strings and have had good and bad experiences. This is by far the worst string I have ever used, and would recommend this to no person. It's very soft plastic, it has a stretchy characteristic to it, and I went through 2 head refills before I even got through one single tank of gas with my Stihl FS45 trimmer. A good trimmer string needs to be hard and durable, and this stuff can't even handle being ran at an angle against concrete or blacktop- it just falls apart. I saw a review of this on youtube and they boasted taking down a ~1" thick weed stalk, but I can hardly get through anything bigger than 1/4". One head spool lasts about 1 round of trimming my property, and that's just unacceptable.

Really Great Trimmer Cord!!
This trimmer cord is really great--Strong and durable. This Oregon cord has a core that is darker than the outer layer and seems to make it really tough and long-lasting. It is much more durable than the cord that came with my new trimmer this spring, both 0.095". When I use my trimmer to edge my lawn after mowing, it lasts much longer than the original stuff, thereby using much less to go around my lawn. And, it feeds out of the trimmer head just as well as the cord supplied by the manufacturer.

Junk
The line itself, very solid and durable. But it features extremely poor flexibility, often gets jammed and or melts in trimmer head, waste of time and money. The 8$ garbage green string of the same diameter from Canadian Tire (albeit it lower quality and breaks more) gives me less problems then this line.I don't mind bumping a little to get the job done.I do mind taking apart the trimmer head every 5 minutes because every second bump causes a jam. Turns a 10 min job into 45 minutes real fast.

not as good as it's hipe - staying with the orange stuff
Given that I do some heavy duty trimming, I thought I would give this a try. I currently use the square orange stuff and it works fine but I was do for more and decided to be adventurous. Mistake.- the multiple bumps make it easy to get stuck and not feed on taping- the line also breaks a lot easier than the orange stuffI had high expectations but this did not work for me.To be kind, it may work if you have a nice neat lawn but I have over six acres of wild grass and weeds so I don't really want to take the trimmer head apart to re feed the broken line (broken within the trimmer head of course)I have to find someone to give this away to.

Awesome
Used as son as I received it. Fantastic and very happyUsed it on weeds in the back alley. Usually line breaks on cement and have to turn off machine and rethread. Works perfectly on stihl km attachment.
