iVina BulletScan F200 USB Flatbed Color Scanner with 20ppm Auto Document Feeder, Supports Windows and Mac OS (F2002120)

I received the scanner and following directions tried to install software provided and it would not install on my Windows 7 OS (specs said this unit would operate on Win OS7). I went to iVina website and downloaded the F200 program and hooked up machine. It will not scan to PDF or PDF multipage, the choice is missing, the only reason for purchase was to scan and email docs in PDF format. Tiff files are just to large to try to send by email, especially when you are sending 50 to 75 pages. Needs additional software to get the PDF choice with one-touch programming buttons on unit. I have contacted iVina in writing for a download or a new install disc to fix problem, it's been a week and absolutely NO RESPOSE from the company. Tried calling their customer support line and all you can do is leave one message after the next and you get absolutely NO RESPONSE.I finally attached the unit to my Paperport 14 and can now scan docs in the PDF format, but that defeats the purpose of the one-touch scan to email and send option that convinced me to purchase scanner in the first place. Once I connected to PP14, the scanner worked great, scans extremely fast and accurate, no jamming or skipped pages.Customer Service is completely non-exsistant for iVina though, I give them a 0 rating.UPDATE:Have yet to get a response from iVina customer service, they are absolutely the worst I've ever run into. The scanner is working great on my laptop, their setup disc works on Windows Vista but won't load on Windows 7 and I have to use Paperport to scan in pdf with my office computer.

I've had my Bulletscanner F200 for probably 2 years now. Maybe 3 years. Its a real work horse. I find myself scanning at least 3-5 documents per day on this scanner and it still works great. About every 6 months I need to turn it off and then back on to clear the memory or cache. It sometimes gets out of memory if not rebooted. This may be something I'm not doing right, but all in all, I'm getting a ton of documents sent out from a very inexpensive scanner. I've scanned 25 to 30 pages at one time and had no problem. The only issue is if it runs out of memory.

i was a bit skeptical of the bulletscan, i'll have to admit... it seemed that - by it's appearance and construction - it may have been built in the same place that the zerox documates are made (and in fact maybe it actually is?). since i had tried the zerox product twice without success (the sender siting likely compatibility issues to which i disagree), i was anxious to see if the bulletscan would not just work, but work well... i does... the bulletscan works like a charm... it's got some functions that i haven't sorted out just yet, but i have begun the process of digitizing my older files and memorabilia. great product - thanks!

The software that comes with it could be setup to be simpler. Some examples of what it takes to do certain task. It integrates with various software's for different task. Overall a plus. It just has a little learning curve at first.

After less than a year this scanner no longer is recognized by my computerdue to the document feeder being defective. I called the tech support phonenumber and only got a recording so I left a message, that was almost twoweeks ago and no response. I sent their tech support an email describing theproblem and asking for an RMA, that was 12 days ago and no response. If youbuy this scanner and have a problem you will not get any help.

Works well on Windows. Does not work on Linux.
