Big, beefy utility tray but iffy construction.
This is a great tray if you want something large to go on a drafting table. It has a ton of storage space, far more than competitors.Unfortunately I am not impressed with the quality of plastic or the molding job. Lines are not straight, the entire thing feels a little wobbly. The plastic arms seem like they will likely break, and mine came without mounting hardware of any sort. It's not a bad utility tray, but it's also not precision engineering. Find a modern Bieffe if you can live with something a bit smaller, or hunt around for a vintage unit.

table storage
I like it a lot, just what I need. Could use some stops on the mounts so It will stand off from the side of the table about 1/8".

Cheap but not many options on the market
Both brackets were broken on arrival. I called Martin Design directly and they sent a new one at no charge. The brackets are very brittle and not strongly made. The tray is more sturdy. I am anticipating nut/screw issues looking at the other reviews, when I mount it.Bottom line, check to make sure your brackets are not broken. (call manufacturer directly if is). Mount with care.

POOR design of support arms
This is for all those who bought the tray and a support arm broke with the littlest presure. Over the years I have bought two of these trays and both broke at the same place. The company sends mixed messages about offerng a replacement arm, they don't sell it seperatly, never have. Now you don't have too throw away the tray.I figured out how to fix their poorly designed arm, for a GREAT table side tray. I bought a piece of Alumn 2" wide and cut it to fit under the arms. A slight bend is needed and longer screws. Now I could sit on it, if I wanted.

Cheap
One mounting bracket was broken in half upon arrival, which required some extra engineering to fix. Also, the hex-shaped holes in the brackets (to capture the nuts) are too large, and the nuts just spin. Disappointed.

The screws and nuts are too small and the whole thing does not feel very sturdy.
Kind of a flimsy/thin tray, looks and feels cheep, there are only 2 support brackets instead of three and they are soft plastic, so be careful. The screws and nuts are too small and the whole thing does not feel very sturdy.
