SEAC Magica, Full Face Snorkeling Mask

Purchased four of these for a trip to Maui with my family. Worked exactly as expected, some reviews said it was hard to breath but I didn’t feel that it was difficult, there is a little restriction but nothing major. There is a one way flap or valve that lets any water out the bottom of the mask if you just lift your head out of the water a little bit, I have a goatee and got a little water in my mask as you would expect but I didn’t have to take the mask off to get the water out. My daughter especially appreciated the material used for the straps as it is not rubber so it doesn’t pull on your hair. All in all a great product and worked extremely well, I would recommend this mask to anyone.

I loved how much you could see with this mask and it’s good in theory but just didn’t work. My epic views were short lived since the mask made it very hard to breathe. We also ordered large sizes based on the sizing chart which was fine for my hubs, but way to big for me, even though I measured my face before purchasing. Water leakage and fit were an issue. Also, the packaging has to be torn apart to remove the mask, so there’s little hope of returning once you realize this. I would not purchase again. Just go with a regular eye and nose mask.

This mask takes noticeably more effort to breathe in this mask than the several of the cheapest generic versions that I have used.. maybe OK if you are doing just floating while snorkeling, do not plan on exerting energy (swimming) while using this mask.Also, it leaks from the forehead or snorkel (directly across the eyes) if you go fully submerged.Build quality is very good except for the snorkel tab (see photo) it is the weak spot (I have broke this spot on other similar masks) and it is as bad (or worse) than the cheapest generic versions that I have tried in the past!

Well this sucks. We ordered this for a vacation. It arrived just before we left so we threw it in the suitcase. No snorkel when we opened it. We have to go find a new setup while we’re in Mexico. Not the end of the world, but very annoying!

The initial dry land fit was ok so imagine my surprise when once in the ocean it started leaking salt water which of course stung my eyes. The air tube is hard to remove and a piece of plastic broke off when removing it for travel. Would not recommend buying this item

I was hoping this would be the same mask fit as the one I sent back ... without those annoying bubbles from the air vents. It wasn't comfortable at all and did not seal correctly.

This is a second time i have ordered the masks. Both times the masks arrived defective ( see the picture). It is strange that the fitst time i ordered from the different seller however the diffect is the same.

We bought this mask for our sons birthday and gave it to him while we were on vacation. He went to use it and where the snorkel attaches to the mask was cracked and not a tight seal. We arrived home last night and I went today to start the return to be told that the return window closed yesterday.

Updated review…. I originally gave this product a good review for design and quality. However, my wife and I learned today that full face masks are not for any kind of snorkeling activity where you are doing any exertion that requires any sort of good breathing. Full face masks can build up CO2 which then deprives you of oxygen. This happened to us today while snorkeling along a reef. Almost suffocated in these masks in deeper water as the air got more and more difficult to breathe, and then was at risk of drowning. I recommend you do your research on the internet to learn the pros and cons and risks. These have apparently started to be banned in some places like parts of Hawaii.Purchased this to snorkel in the Maldives.Pros:- Solid construction- Easily adjusts to fit your head.- Excellent seal that never leaked.- Good snorkel with valve to prevent water from coming in when the snorkel was underwater- Didn’t fog.Cons:- Only good for very basic, easy snorkeling in safe, shallow water where you have no risk. Wouldn’t advise these for anywhere where you can’t quickly get to safety if you start to lose your oxygen levels as these can cause CO2 levels to build up in your body.

I bought this mask for my son. I measured his face according to the instructions and it was 4.5cm. Exactly in between two sizes. I bought the large and it was too big and leaked water onto his face. I returned and purchased the medium. It fit him snugly and he loves wearing it. IMPORTANT! You must adjust the straps so that it seals the mask onto the face... almost to the point of discomfort...almost. It's still has to be comfortable to wear and if you play around with the straps you will find the sweet spot. It's no good having the straps comfortably loose and expect the mask to work. My takeaway is that it's a great mask and works as intended if you adjust for your the head size. If you are in between sizes like my son, err on the smaller size.

Great fit, my first time with fill face mask and won’t go back to 2 piece (mask and separate snorkel) that we had previously. I had not tried this before buying, but super easy to get on and use. Also bought for my husband who loved his. Snorkel comes off easily for storage/travel, comfortable and easy to put on. Super happy with purchase.

One word exceptional! I love this mask it's comfortable and built vary well, it's clear with no distorted view and its co2 certified!. I originally bought a cheap one and sent it back right away, this mask is a good example of you pay for what you get I'll be buying one for my wife too!

Ordered this for my husband before our recent vacation - previously we had 2 pieces (eye mask and snorkel) - he was super happy with how easy it goes together and comes apart; how easily it slips on and the great fit (water tight seal). He really appreciated it and was super happy with it.
