Excellent holder for two cards.
I had two concerns before buying this badge holder: would it hold the badges securely, and would it keep them both from triggering? My office has RFID readers on the doors, and I have a second RFID badge. Previously I had been keeping them on separate straps, but I felt ridiculous with both of them. I saw someone at work with one of these, though, and bought this right away. The main thing that concerned me was the fact that it doesn't look like there's very much holding the cards in. Also, there's one open side, so I was a little nervous the cards would slide out. However, the edges are pretty strong, and the cards are held in snugly on both sides. There's a tiny lip, so they don't slide smoothly, but it holds them in better that way, and I liked that.I like the fact that they slide in two different ways, it allows me to know which side is which without looking. Also, the side where the card slides in from the side instead of the top allows the card a little space, so it worked with the card reader without having to slide the card out. The other side you have to partially remove the card to make it work, but it can stay 60% in the holder.I also love the purple color. My only complaint is that it's kind of heavy, but I'd rather it be heavy than flimsy. I'd definitely buy it again.

The blocking power is too strong!!!! lol
I have been using these for awhile, so naturally I went looking for this product to hold my cards for my new job. The only downside I find with this holder is that it blocks all your cards from being read period. Metro cards, ID cards, security door cards, etc. The last one I had about 4 years ago, i could keep the card in the holder and hold it up to the reader and it would still read it. This one blocks reading period. So my fancy lanyard with that pulley thing became pointless. I was planning on just pulling on the badge holder up the reader and let go when it was read. Nope had to pull out my badge and have it read.

Not the model advertised.
I love Identity Stronghold products, HOWEVER, I purchased the duolite to be able to carry 2 Gov't CACs. I did not realize this badge holder came with the BloxProx (for HID proximity cards) on one side. This feature, which is a large thick piece of plastic, prevents the CAC from sliding into the clip along the side. It might not be a concern for some but the fact that the CAC is not easily removed or returned to the holder and it doesn't sit flat makes me CRAZY!! The badge I purchased should be been IDSH2004-001B-Blk as advertised but is in fact IDSH5001-001B-Blk. So if you do not need "tap and go" proximity scanning, I would skip this badge holder.

Great product.
After destroying a few lesser quality badge holders over the past year I hoped this one might hold up. It did! I am not gentle with my kit. I scan my badge and drop it wjere it is rapidly retracted on a Kevlar stringed Key-back on my belt. I work in a hospital so the holders either broke snapping back or when I lean over to provide care to my patients. None lasted more than a month, until I bought this one. Save for a few scratches it is holding strong. The loop at the top is thick and durable. The plastic isn't brittle. I bought a couple expecting them to last a few weeks. A month and a half later into daily use I think my few may last me years.

Snags easily, will lose your badge
I love this badge holder, but it has too many issues for me to continue using as my daily holder. I have two badges, one of which I need to pull out several times a day to scan, so this device was perfect for that. RFID is not a huge concern, but I like to cover my bases. Here are my problems with this badge:1. Snags frequently, all of the edges make this badge snag on everything! It broke the vinyl holder several times as a result.2. I like the side entry as it makes slipping the badge out easy. But this side is prone to dropping your card. If you shake it hard enough, your card will come flying out. I also noticed that part of what holds the card in place broke after a few weeks after, making the gripping of my most crucial badge even more flimsy.Beautiful holder works decently, but if you are active and moving between a lot of different environments, you will lose something with this holder. The combination of the snagging and

Works great to securely hold both my employee id cards
I have to carry 2 badges to get into 2 different buildings. I decided to give these a shot. I'm so glad I did. Slide 1 in one side and the other into the back side. When you want to use one, just slide the badge about half way out and the reader will pick up the signal for just the 1 badge. The orange one is my 2nd badge holder, the first one lasted about a year before one of the fingers that help hold the badge in broke. But I think that a year of constant use is pretty good.

exactly what i needed for work.
I have two identification cards for work. One is your standard goverment CAC/Identity card, the other is a simple RFID card to open doors.I wanted a holder that-Open face so that the plastic doesnt get scratched up-Holds two cards on opposite sides-Easy to slip the cards out to use them, but holds them securely.-A bonus would be RFID blocking for one side, but not the other. This item is PERFECT for my needs. And, I found out, that if i peel off the metallic foil on the REAR side (the side that i want the RFID to work) then it actually lets that card transmit its ID. I wont get into the technical reason why, but with one side missing its foil, one card is blocked, and one card reads. Its PERFECT for you Government types with separate key cards for ID and doors.Even though its 10-11 bucks, i'll probably buy several more in other colors for my co-workers.
