Frogger Golf Swing Hero Swing Training Aid - Teaches Correct Gripping of Golf Clubs for Longer Straighter Shots

This training aid works great on most any iron, wood, or training club. It allows you to hold onto weighted clubs without great grip pressure. Learning to swing without gripping down hard will add distance because the tighter the grip the less free the wrists through the shot. I use one on my Medicus Driver, and one on my flexible bending tempo trainer. It's way safer too.

I always have had tension problems with my hands which has consistently caused my club face to be open at impact. Its purpose is to have you barely (lightly) grip the club as you swing and it prevents the club from flying out of your hands. I have used it for a week and by observing my swing speeds on an Optishot 2 golf simulator my swing speed has increased. I believe even without the Optishot information that my grip tension is less and the club face has rotated properly more often. One star removed due to the size of the flange (the part that extends away from the club grip that keeps the club in your hands ) - I believe it is too large and it occasionally rubs against my lower hand, irritating it if it is not perfectly adjusted.

Bought this because of a local newspaper review. This product is a waste of time. It does not help with grip tension as promised. The video contains no information that you have't heard a million times.

most golf aids are gimmicks for me but this little thing helps because i fight gripping the club too firmly

If you use this device as instructed, you will find your swing speed increase, your swing release to be more fluid and your ball flight more consistent. Obviously you need to have more training than listed on this video to play outstanding golf but all beginner and intermediate players will benefit greatly from using this device as their skills increase.
