The quality of this hat is very nice, especially for the price. It un-rolls and re-rolls nicely. It is soft and pliable enough that as soon as you unroll it it looks normal...not like a rolled, wrinkled mess. In addition, the pliability allows you to shape it in different ways, which helps cut down on the dork-iness. I didn't think my head was huge but, when I put the velcro together to fit my head, the lips of the hat are a good inch apart from each other. It does come down long in the back, which is great for sun protection (as long as you don't mind it touching your shoulders/back). I gave it four stars as it is a little silly looking (but not too bad), but worth the sun protection and the ability to put it in luggage. But maybe that is just me. I would buy another one.

Wish the available circumference had about two more inches on it for those of us who have large heads to hold our large brains! Otherwise, it's convenient, stylish and easy to pack around and put on. It always looks gorgeous and I always receive lots of compliments when I wear it.I'm thinking of adding my own strips of Velcro to replace the small existing ones for a perfect custom fit for me. It would be nice if manufactures realized that women's heads also come in lots of different sizes too; our heads are not "one size fits all!" I've been buying San Diego Hat Company hats for years and I expect them to have caught up with the times by now.

I just love this hat. I also like that you can tip up the front if needed and it will stay that way until you put it down.It is not good in the wind, so you will have to hold it.Funny, I couldn't find my hat, so I ordered another one, and then when my friend wanted one like it, I tried to find the second hat and had lost it, so I ordered her one, and then I found the hat.The best thing about this hat is it is not floppy. It keeps whatever shape you put it in.

This is a convenient and versatile hat, especially when traveling. It held up well rolled up in my suitcase, unrolled and was in good shape, and was easy to throw in my purse and beach bag. The velcro means it's adjustable to any adult head. The material is durable. Though I don't recommend getting it too wet, it can handle the occasional splash if you're going to be at the pool or beach.The brim is wide and moldable - did a great job blocking the sun, though it wasn't wide enough to cover my chin, neck and shoulders when I was lounging on the beach. For the price, this is a great addition to your sun protection arsenal. I'll probably buy another color or two down the road.

I have a large head that doesn’t fit in nearly all other hats, except this one! It has a little extra room in the Velcro that works great for me. It fits over poly tails too which is a big bonus. There’s no under the chin string so it could blow away but you can secure it to fit around your head so it can be perfectly snug. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Exactly what I expected. Looks exactly as pictured. I love this style hat for the beach. I can wear it and sit with my head backon my chair. Hats that have a brim all the way around really aren't suitable for leaning your head back on a surface. I also love that it can be rolled up and put in my beach bag or suitcase when traveling. I like this particular hat because it doesn't have a bow on the back as many hats do. Well made. I would recommend this hat.

Love this! I am just shy of 6’ and have a large head. Women’s hats right off the shelf and most sold online don’t fit. This hat is great! Even better, I can wear my thick hair down, up in a twist, in a ponytail, whatever and the hat adjusts to the size I need.

Fits great. I like that it’s adjustable. Has stayed in in a slight breeze too which is good. I really like the color. So & flexible rolls up well for easy travel.
