Regarding the price, they keep the cost down by printing in China, but Thomas Nelson gives a lifetime guarantee.Regarding the translation, the NKJV gives you the majority text tradition but has the critical text words at the bottom where there are differences.The notes seem unbiased toward a particular theological leaning and are extensive. It's full of additional information and word studies, and also has cross references in parts of the old testament and the gospels where you can easily track to related material.I'm 60 with glasses, and I can see where some would say the font is a bit small, but the print type and colors are bold and contrasting, so I can easily read and enjoy it. If they enlarged the font much they'd have to cut material out or make it a foot thick. It's a little big for traveling, but I wouldn't hesitate to take it to church. I rate this on par with my CSB study bible, but higher than my MacArthur Study Bible due to its calvinist leanings.Wish it were printed in the US or South Korea: it would cost more but I'd pay it.

This Bible is everything I hoped for and more. The notes, maps, charts, timelines, word studies, archeological evidence, and articles are very helpful in studying God’s Word.Everything is organized and structured throughout very well. I especially appreciate the outline at the beginning of each book as it helps me get an overview of what I’m about read and helps me find specific verses I’m looking for.I like the color choices, glossy-like pictures, the thickness of the pages, and the two high quality ribbon markers. The genuine leather is great quality. The photographs are phenomenal and help bring this Bible to life as you read and study it. Exactly what I was hoping for as I have enjoyed photography from the Holy Land ever since I was a child.I’ve purchased many Bibles over the years, but this is by far the best one of all and my favorite. Worth every penny.

Bought for my son and we like it so much i will be ordering two more for my daughter and I. Sturdy, heavy duty and good quality. Great study details included all throughout, makes reading the bible more fun for kids. Its NKJV which is our personal favorite translation. Came on time and was packaged well.

Love the details of the maps and such. Although it is a bit heavy but it's my husband's so he can handle it.

It is a chunky monkey, but it also a beautiful Bible and so informative. I use it in conjunction with my Life Application Bible.

I love the book itself. Has great study info. I’m more disappointed in the fact that the book doesn’t come with the cover as advertised. It was just a plain burgundy book. I would’ve really appreciated to have the cover.

Very good everyday study bible

It's a bit heavy. I love the easy reading, it has a great explanation section that really helps me understand what I'm reading. So glad I purchased this version.

The media could not be loaded.  Highly recommend this Bible. It is just rammed with so much useful information and context. What a massive work to put all this together. It’s a LOT for the price. Best for Desk study as this is not really one for carrying around with you.

Wow!I can't believe the quality of this amazing Bible!So glad I chose this one ,and have hardly been able to put it down since it arrived.The layout is perfect ,the diverse explanations,illustrations ,commentary and exegesis is second to none ,and the feel of the pages and text is wonderful.So much time, care and thought has gone into it ,I can't fault anything about it.I can't believe it was only £30 ,it feels as though it should have cost hundreds,if I can talk about the Bible in such terms.The Bible text itself is crystal clear ,placed above notes and verse explanations,translations etc.It lays out flat when reading ,the text size is great (I don't wear glasses but find small print hard to read ) ,and the pages turn beautifully. Even though it's a large size,it doesn't feel oversized-I'd be comfortable using it at Church ,or even walking about with it ,though of course it's a study Bible ,so it has some weight to it.I did research on YouTube before choosing this Bible ,but the videos don't do it justice -the actual quality has to be experienced.It really opens the Bible up in huge detail without taking away from ,or obscuring the actual Bible text,which of course can be read on its own.I can't upload pictures at moment but will do when I can.Can't recommend this Bible enough,and will use this publisher in future ,highly trustworthy.

Everything is perfect, but I bough on the fact that it was described ‘red letter edition’ however I received the bible loved it so much but when I went to read Jesus words were not in red as described . I’m so disappointed and gutted. I need to return but I have written my name in it I’m so distressed 😩. HELP!!!!

I'm so happy I purchased this bible, the facts at the bottom of the pages really helps with understanding each person and what I can take from the bible in my daily living and practice. I am very happy with this bible it has made my bible reading more fun and exciting. I always look forward to studying the bible.

Beautifully made Bible. Ghosting through the pages is minimal, the addition of colour is a nice touch, the comfort font makes for easy reading. The comments under the scripture although smaller size font is still easily readable. Lays flat when opened.Comes in a sturdy box.Very happy with it.
