Great mechanicals pencils.

I am a huge fan for Pentel products. This mechanical pencil is one of themIt is clear plastic with the soft plastic bits in the front where you hold it. makes writing very comfortable and easy. the clicker works all the time. i like that the eraser is the same that Pentel uses in their retractable erasers, as opposed to those little refills, so these do a good job of erasing your mistake.. It is a well thought out writing utensil that I am proud to have on my desk. And I got a box of a dozen so that I don't have to look for one in my home. Worth every penny.

I've had this kind many years back which i bought at Wallgreens . They came in two and i love them over all but mostly on comfort on the hand and the ease on the side tip adjustment . I tried looking for an identical one at Wallgreens and for some reasons , at the time , they didnt have the .05 . I did not want to buy other brands since they did not suit my preference . Over the years i lost one and the one i have left broke on where the eraser is and i have to put a tape over it to prevent the leads from sliding out. The leads get stucked in the tape every now and then . it was a drag . And since i only have one left on both my scribing and writing , i was getting tired of running to and from my garage to my computer room just to get it everytime i used it on woodworking . The worst part is, on many occasions , i just cant remember where the freakin' thing is . So then i decided to put an end to my cursing and swearing just looking for my one and only broken pen and look over at Amazon . And there it is in 12 packs !!! It was and still is always a pleasure ordering from Amazon and most of the time, packages comes early . Which , for a grumpy old man, is a big deal

Good pencils. The clicker on the side makes it convenient. The lead is super smooth when writing.

This lead pencil is pricey but worth it. It fits in my hand perfectly, just do not bear down very hard because the lead does break easily.

I've been using the Pentel Techniclick and Techniclick II for years and I love them. Those 2 models are no longer made so I thought I would try a box of these Quick Click (Model PD215).PRO: They are very nice pencils, have a great method to advance the lead close to where one holds the pencil and have a nice, comfortable rubberized grip for your fingers. The point is great for writing and I've had very good luck with the reliability of the Techniclick II.CON: HOWEVER, the fill tube for the extra leads only holds about 6 leads. I use a mechanical pencil all day long for my legal work. I write a lot and go through a bunch of lead each week. With these pencils, I will be loading lead into the very small opening (see picture) too many times each week.Conclusion: These will be fine for light duty and maybe even normal usage but won't work well for my daily needs.Good thing I also ordered some of the Pentel Side FX models to try out. Hopefully those will be better suited for my use.

These are Greg for everyday writing or draw. They glide easy and are easy to hold. My only issue is the quality of the eraser, it doesn’t completely erase causing me to use a different eraser for even small mistakes.

I love using mechanical pencils, but not all of these pencils are long-lasting quality. Except for the Pentel Quick Click mechanical pencil in 0.7mm lead!! It is by far the most durable and reliable pencil I have every used. You click on the side to advance the lead without having to stop your writing!! Genius! And, one the best parts about this pencil, is that the eraser extends and retracts easily, plus it doesn't leave smudges or tear off your page when you erase. I love everything about this pencil, including its comfortable grip. I purchased the violet colored one, in the box of 12 pencils. Thanks Pentel for creating an awesome product! Will definitely be buying them again, and again, and again!!

This is the second time I have ordered the item and BOTH times the tub of mechanical pencils arrived in an extremely bad condition. There is no consideration put into the packaging of the item (no packaging at all, only in the plastic bag) that when it arrived, all the mechanical pencils have fallen out of the original plastic container and some has already broken apart and the leads inside fell out and broke. The plastic container that are supposed to hold the mechanical pencils is all squished and bent out of shape, rendering useless. Where am I suppose to keep all the pencils now? This is not acceptable at all and there is no respect shown to the products itself. I would have give 0 stars if it is possible. Since it is not possible, the 1 star is for the quality for the mechanical pencils.

Avoid this product as the pencil design is not ergonomically bad for anyone who use it continuously for longer period (like an hour) to write notes. As a law student, I need a comfortable grip for a longer time, as the pencil barrel is too thick. Try the PENTEL ENETGIZE style for more comfortable writing.

I guess I should have read details closer.....wanted red pencils for mark ups on drawings and looking at the box it appears that the pencil lead should be red 0.5mm lead. They contain black lead and the color of the mechanical pencil parts is red. Still a decent pencil thou.

These pencils have a comfortable grip and good lead width. Took a star off because only 2 pieces of lead and can’t figure out how to refill.
