Super thoughtfully illustrated and truly diverse
I loved this book! I could see almost every type of diversity represented in the illustrations! there are lots of details to notice so it’s going to be fun to read multiple times. I was so happy the words are not overly simple like some kids books. This is adaptable for a range of ages. You can read it to very little ones and as they get older you can read it together, plus you can have more critical discussions about the ideas and the scenes depicted. There was thought out into the characters and the relationships depicted. I feel like this is a book I’m proud to share. Thank you!

Teacher Read Aloud
What a wonderful book to read at the beginning of the school year to let all students know they are welcome, safe and valuable to this classroom. Alexandra and Suzanne have thought of a multitude of cultures and disabilities to include. After reading, you and your students will understand that All Are Welcome. The poster is a reminder all year long.

Excellent book
The illustrations are fun and lovely. It is inclusive without being preachy (which is skillful design by itself). The message is fantastic. We need more positivity like this in our world.

I gift this book at every baby shower!
This book is a delight! It's message is so vital these days, as hateful people feel more and more empowered to spew their bile. Teaching little ones from the very beginning that all people are worthy of love and respect is such an important message. I especially appreciate that the art embodies the message of the text; you can see children with various family structures, religious/cultural backgrounds, and disabilities throughout the book.

Beautiful Book About Inclusion & Diversity
What a fun book to acknowledge the differences between people who still come together to have fun, learn, and discover new things! If anyone can't see the joy, light, and positivity of this book, they may need to look at their own fear and do some true, accurate, and authentic soul searching. I recommend doing some critical thinking to self-discover why you view this innocent book as problematic.Beautiful book. I hope this book will find a home in all the libraries and public schools to spread happiness and inclusion.Books open minds!

Colorful with a beautiful message.
Purchased for our rising K student. The illustrations are colorful and the message has let her see mirrors of the people and families in our lives. We've even purchased a copy as a gift for a family friend.

Perfect for classrooms who want to welcome children with open arms
This book has such an amazing message - every child and family, no matter the make up or how they look are welcomed “here” (being the classroom or school). Love the reassuring message to students that your family doesn’t need to look a certain way to be welcomed or accepted. As a former teacher, this book has a message that will resonate with each kiddo. My 4 year old (who is 1 of 2 sons to my husband and I) goes to a diverse school and he loves it too!

Quite a big book impressed with it and the quality of the paper is too good. Didn't expect it to be this good cause it was cheap but glad that I did

Wonderful book for any age
My daughter is about to be 2years old and she absolutely loves this book! The illustrations are incredible, after i read a page my daughter will stop and point to images telling me what she sees. This book not only helps highlight diversity but really promotes language skills. My daughter has learnt what a wheelchair is, different cultural foods that the children eat at lunch. (Beautiful imagry of different types of breads, meals and drinks)We discuss the children with headscalfs, glasses, the child praying and the different types of activities at school. So beautiful!
