The Barry Manilow Anthology Piano, Vocal and Guitar Chords

Fantastic book. Perfect arrangements on most songs. Just what Barry was playing! Amazing price! Great selection of his songs. Don’t pay any attention to the other reviews. I’ve played piano for over 30 years and seen some pretty awful sheet music in my time. This is the most TRUE-TO-WHAT-YOU-HEARD-ON-THE-RADIO sheet music I’ve ever played. I don’t know what some other reviewers are complaining about! These ARE in the original keys he sang/played them in. And, yes, it’s thick. He had a long career of many hits. (To the person looking for Memory from Cats...duh! Copyright. Of course this has the original Broadway version written in it. VERY RARELY will you EVER find a new arrangement of an old popular song that someone else wrote re-arranged to reflect the latest singer’s version. In all my years, I think I’ve seen “over the rainbow” in a different key and jazz arrangement ONCE.) Long story short? If you like Barry and play the piano, BUY THIS BOOK.

I am so happy to own this book. It has every one of his 70 hits and I have visited a lot of those songs on Utube and saw his live performances. The songs are too hard for me to play on piano so I ordered Barry Manilow's easy piano book so that I can play some of his hit songs. The book itself was a gently used text and I was pleased with it's appearance. I took the book to UPS store and had it spiral bound. Looks really nice! I had no idea that Manilow was out there still producing and performing even as I write this review. I am so delighted and surprised that even at age 73 he is singing and producing his live performances to packed houses. He looks so good! His sound is just as strong as in the 70s. He is still writing and producing--Wow!

Speaking as a professional pianist & piano teacher, I'm really enjoying these great songs and nice arrangements.

Lots of wonderful songs. Unfortunately, this was a bust for me because they are set in keys too high for me to sing the high notes. I'm a baritone.

I love the Barry Manilow Anthology. It provides me with the words and music to the most popular Manilow tunes and Barry's personal commentary on the creative process in developing the songs. For used, the book was in excellent condition. I will use it many times in singing and perhaps learning some musical accompaniment chords.

This was in like new condition at a very good price

I was left a stack of old records and found many Barry Manilow's recordings. I started to listen to his songs and appreciated the way he composed. I jokingly told my wife I was turning soft and becoming "gay" because I was appreciating Barry Manilow's tunes. While they are produced in a sugar coated innocent pop way they are expertly written and this book is a good primer of Barry Manilow's style. If you want to play his tunes they are all here. He is underrated as a song writer.

Really nice songs!

This is a great music book but it is too difficult for me to use.As I am not a all time piano player so it takes a longer time to practice.A simple version would be more appropriate for me.

This collection has quite a few songs that I am not familiar with but also contains all of the hits such as Mandy, Can't smile without you, Copacabana, etc. Has a bit of info about each album - which was interesting to read. A good one for your collection.

A great collection of Barry's songs, sadly not all of them but plenty to choose from. I adore his songs and this is my favourite piano book which I go back to again and again.
