KA-BARUS Navy Fight Knife, Brown Leather/Black, 7" Blade

I can not say enough on how very pleased I am with this Ka-Bar. I got the USN Ka-Bar in remembrance of my dad who was a Commander Chaplin in the Navy. This is NOT a fake Ka-Bar, the description of this Ka-Bar is very accurate so you are getting what you pay for and a little more. The Ka-Bar comes out of the box sharp and ready to use. The quality of the sheath is very well made, the sheath accepts the blade turned either way for fast sheathing, also the Ka-Bar locks in perfectly and does not fall out of the sheath. To be honest should you buy this particular Ka-Bar or a different one, you are not going to be disappointed at all. Just make sure you are buying a authentic Ka-Bar. Unlike this Ka-Bar there are fake Ka-Bars so be careful.

Overall sharp, sturdy black sheath, USN logo on it and that's what matters.

I purchased this as a gift for my grandfather. He didn’t get to keep much of his stuff from his navy days. It took me a while to find this but he loved it. I think it makes a great momento for his time spent. Before I have it to him I checked to make sure nothing was damaged and everything was there, after holding it in my hand my thoughts were “This is sturdy as hell.” Overall just impressed by the fact that the knife was an actual KA-ABAR not a cheap gimmick like some other sellers put out.

I was worried after I purchased this that it would be the USMC stamped version, as the description does include erroneous information. I specifically wanted the USN stamped version because I already own one with the USMC stamp.I'm happy to report that it does contain the Navy markings. I purchased a US Navy stamped leather sheath separately for when I do not want the Kydex sheath. This knife really is a beauty. Wonderful construction and a very sharp edge (sharp enough to shave with straight out of the box). Happy customer.

I took a while to figure out what to get my son, and I finally figured that this knife with a personal engraving on the blade would do the trick. I took the knife to a local engraver who did a great job of doing what I wanted, and then my son got it and loved the knife. He collects knives, so this was a bonus. The only thing I didn't understand about this item is that I didn't see anywhere that it came with a sheath, so I ordered the leather one. Maybe I didn't read the description well enough, but I ordered the leather sheath and discovered I didn't need to. Oh, well. A spare sheath isn't bad, so I'm giving this 5 stars.

This is Real Ka-Bar fighting knife with with USN stamp! USMC is all around the place. However, the US Navy version is special and is the one I looking for! Original real Ka-Bar with modern new black sheath. Mix old classic with little modern. Oh yeah!

J'ai acheté ce couteau pour la chasse et le camping. C'est vraiment le meilleur couteau que je me suis acheter. Super bien conçu, très léger malgré la longue lame,...le pommeau en acier balance bien le couteau. J'adore la poignée, la couleur du cuir ressort bien avec la lame noire. Le couteau se "clip" dans l'étui, alors il peut etre porter a l'envers sans risque que la lame glisse. La lame est super tranchante.Le tout à l'air solide et durable. Vraiment content de mon achat ,en tenant le couteau on comprend pourquoi c'est un classique de l'armée.

I absolutely love this knife! I use it for everything. You can't get any better than an authentic Ka-Bar. Comes sharp out of the box with a plastic scabbard.

Do knives get anymore classy than this? Love my kabar wish i bought one years ago great for bushcraft and prepping game
