Ours floors have never been consistently cleaner
I had the 1st generation of the Roomba many years ago. Robot Vacs have come so far. It does not look so different than the 1st one I had, but it is so much better. Lasts a long time, pretty fast to recharge, big dust tray, easy to dump. I like the simplicity of this model, no phone integration, just an IR remote. Also this model has some mode buttons on the top, so it you ever lose the remote, it is basically functional. The automatic mode works well, but I like the edge mode also. You can use the IR remote to control it like a remote control car, which is cool, but maybe not so useful. It finds it's base well when the battery is low, but make sure you have a foot or so of wall space on either side. I put it too close to a corner, and it could not find it.It is very slim and gets under most furniture. We have a piece of furniture the is the right height to get is stuck. I put some wood discs under the feet to make it a bit higher, and that fixed it.I waited to the excitement of the new gadget wore off to see if we were still using it. We are in a routine now, and I think we will always use a device like this.

He does the job but he’s not very smart.
UPDATE 2 (May 2021)We’ve had this vacuum since June of 2019, so almost 2 years. We are now looking into getting a different robot vacuum. Eufy just doesn’t clean well anymore. I’ll lock it in the single room with our cats’ litter boxes for 20 minutes, and when I come back the floor will still be covered in cat litter. I use the remote to make it go over sections with debris, and it goes right over them without sucking anything up. By the time the vacuum is out of battery and goes home, the house looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed at all. The compartment will usually be about half full with cat hair and litter, so I know it’s picking some things up still. We also still have to be home to babysit it because it will get stuck on wires or under low furniture.UPDATEI had to update this review because I’m enjoying my Eufy so much! We run it every day and it always picks up a ton of dust, dirt, and cat hair. I’ve also learned how to manage its problem areas better so it doesn’t get stuck and lose its brushes so often. Additionally, I have to give a big shout out to Eufy’s customer service. After my original review they immediately reached out to help troubleshoot, and they sent me a free replacement kit. If you’re nervous about buying a vacuum with few reviews, don’t be!I’ve only had the vacuum for one day, so my experience is fairly limited. I will update the review if anything changes.Pros:1. Seems to clean well. He picked up a lot of cat hair, dust, and cat litter and we don’t even know where he found it. It’s also neat to watch him edge clean around the walls and items he can’t fit under.2. He’s very sheek and professional looking. I didn’t love the idea of a brown robot but he barely looks brown.3. Set up was very straightforward with use of the owners manual. It was slightly trickier when I first started using the quick start guide.4. He’s very thorough. He was able to get under the bed and couch and even navigate under the dining table and chairs.5. He is able to sense walls and he doesn’t run into them. He does run into everything else, but it’s much softer than my sister’s roomba.Cons:1. He can’t be left unsupervised. The manual says to barricade places where he might get stuck, but I can’t very easily barricade my recliner for him every day. When he gets stuck, he will not turn off, he just keeps ramming into the object.2. He loses his brushes often. In one 30 minute clean, he lost one brush twice and lost both brushes once. If I hadn’t been supervising him I would have to search the house for the brushes.3. He doesn’t appear to listen well to the remote. He will start cleaning when I tell him to, but he doesn’t appear to follow my directions when I attempt to use the arrows to help him. When I pressed the charging button to send him home, the remote display showed that I had pressed it, but the vacuum just kept on vacuuming. It wasn’t until Hubs went to the robot and pressed the charge button that he turned off the suction and began searching for his way home. At this point, the vacuum followed my directions, but he kept fighting them.4. He has a lot of difficulty going home despite having the recommended amount of space in every direction. I managed to get him directly in front of the charging port, but instead of going home nicely, he ran over the charging port repeatedly, then left. After another lap around the kitchen, he came back and made it onto the charging port on the second try. Once he was nicely situated on the charging port, he left again without being told to, then returned and went back to sleep.Overall, unless something major happens I will keep him since he is able to clean nicely. It’s just a bummer that he requires so much coddling.

Colleen the cleaning machine and eufy's awesome customer support
I'm in love with this machine. We call her Colleen the cleaning machine.Colleen lives in my studio apartment which has a mix of carpet, tile, linoleum, and rugs (no tassels). She's able to handle all of them just fine. I have a raised bump going between the different textures (probably 1/2") and sometimes it takes a few extra seconds but she does get over it. She likes to suck up cords sometimes when I forget to put them away, but even then, she tends to just get stuck and call for help instead of damaging the cords. One day Colleen started making clicking, rattling noises and her right spinny brush was getting stuck. After trying the obvious things like cleaning the brushes, I emailed support and they sent me a detailed list of troubleshooting steps. I fully expected the typical customer service experience where they send you back a list of all the things you just told them you tried, but this was so much more helpful. We were able to isolate the problem to one motor.I really dislike the throw-away culture we live in, so I was even happier when they offered to ship me a new motor and some instructions to replace it. No need to ship such a big item halfway across the world, and definitely no need to replace the whole thing. There was a video to follow and the replacement went smoothly. I don't know how they would've handled it if I couldn't do the replacement myself though.Overall, I would happily buy another eufy! No roomba brand tax and works just as well. Fantastic customer support behind both eufy and Anker (owns eufy).

Do not clean well, battery stands less than 15mins
At the beginning, it was working ok and cleaning average. Do not expect cleaning like a vacuum cleaner it only gives soft cleaning to your surface. Maybe works better with wooden flooring but worst with carpets/rugs.After 3 months the quality of cleaning got worst and worst, brushes are decaying quickly and started bending. The battery got worst 10-15 mins only. Also, this is not for you if you keep lots of stuff on the floor, you need to clear the entire house/apartment to let it clean otherwise you need somebody to play with it while it's cleaning all time. In the short waste of money.
