Good product that retains the large sizes of the flakes.
I have one cat who LOVES bonito flakes. He has crossed eyes and a hard time seeing near things. Therefore it's essential that he have larger sized snacks/treats so he can see them to eat them. Most bonito flakes come in much smaller sizes and he can only eat part of them. And I have purchased other so-called "large" sized flakes that had half the bag crushed into smaller flakes he couldn't see to eat by the time they arrived here. He initially went gangbusters after these treats and would clean the plate/bowl they were placed on. I am giving them a rating of only four stars because, after only half the bag is gone, he has lost interest in them. He doesn't lose interest in another brand that comes with some crushed....so it's not that he doesn't like tuna flakes any more. He doesn't like THESE tuna flakes after half the bag. The very reasonable price on them made it a worthwhile purchase however.

Fantastic value and finicky cats love 'em!
I had been buying bonito tuna flakes in the pet store for $10 an ounce, so I was thrilled when I found these BellyRub treats on Amazon at only $15 for 3 1/2 ounces. I was skeptical at first because the store ones had a lot of very small flakes at the bottom, almost "bonito dust" and I thought these might be amost all "dust." But yahoo! The BellyRub flakes are BETTER than the store treats - the flakes are larger, hold together better, and there's no "bonito dust" at the bottom of the bag.For those concerned about additives to their pets' food, the only thing in this product is Bonito Tuna. That's it. They're dried, so no need for preservatives. If you've never bought tuna flakes before, you should know that 3 1/2 ounces is a lot of flakes. They come in a resealable bag - and the bag is similar in size to a bag of potato chips once you let the air out and nope, the tuna flakes aren't packed with extra air.The true test: my cats' noses. They dug right in to these! Didn't notice a change from the store variety.

100% tuna & 100% loved by my cats!
For my cats, this stuff has no equal in terms of how much they like it. I have tried many other treats and cat food (mostly organic), all of which they like to varying degrees, but when this comes out, they literally run straight to it. They will immediately scarf down as much as I put down, so I have to limit the servings.I like that it's 100% tuna with no fillers or other junk. Some theorize that cats aren't designed to eat lots of seafood (i.e., they wouldn't find/catch much in the wild), but if this is given only occasionally as a treat then I'd think their systems shouldn't have much issue with it. At least, mine have not.I definitely recommend this one!

Good product, but inconsistent
My cat absolutely loves these tuna flakes, but I order these at least once a month and constantly get different ratios of flakes to dust and varying weights. Sometimes it arrives with under 3 oz of product, and other times it has about 20% tuna flake dust at the bottom. Not sure why there is so much inconsistency? I would be happier if it was a tad cheaper, because sometimes I feel ripped off for what I end up receiving.

a lot of tuna flakes for the price
I had bough another brand of tuna flakes to try on our two cats. They loved it! It was a 1-ounce bag and fairly expensive. So I went looking for a better deal and found this 3.5 oz bag from Bellyrubs. Don't let the small ounces deceive you this is a LARGE bag of tuna flakes. Remember they don't weigh much. Our cats really like this brand. It has helped us transition them to new dry foods. We sprinkle a little on their dry food as a treat. That's probably the best way to give it to them. The flakes aren't as easy for them to eat on the floor or on a plate by themselves. This is a great value for the money and this large bag will last a long time.

Bonita! The magic word that makes my cat go bonkers :-)
It wasn't until a few months ago that I introduced my cat to Bonito flakes. The fact that it's all natural is a big plus. I had previously purchased Cat-Man-Doo Extra Large Bonito Flakes and he went nuts over it. The 4oz. bag lasted a little over 2 months. I was going to order another bag but the price has gone up $10, so I decided to try Bellyrubs instead. Even though you get .5oz less with Bellyrubs there seems to be less dusting and small flakes. The flakes also seem to be softer and the ziploc bag is a little more robust. My 6 yr. old black cat loves this stuff and gives it two paws up.Food for thought: Bonita means "pretty" in Spanish, and Bonito is the correct spelling of the fish.

Perfect treat for picky eaters
Bonito flakes are very fragrant so I find them quite effective in persuading cats out from behind furniture and large appliances. I use them as a substitute for treats for my chubby cats and they're enjoy them just as much as crunchy treats. I also mix a bit into wet food to help make it more palatable. One of my cats refused to eat after surgery, even with anti-nauseant medication. She would only eat food that had flakes in it. Get the vet's permission before you do this, of course.(bonito broth is also delicious for humans, but I didn't use the cat treats for that)

cats like it but quite powdery
its alright. My cats do like it but its like 15-20% good sized flakes and the rest seems like a dust.
