Standard Hydraulic Cylinder Replacement for Univent, Thermovent, Optivent, Ventomax, & Sesam Liberty Window Opener

Went out on a limb after one of the units we purchased seemed screwed up out of the box (maybe it was us? not sure). This puppy works like a charm, easy to put in place, good as new.

Replaced the old one from our greenhouse. This appears to be a genuine replacement part as it had all of the same markings and numbers stamped on it as the original. Whet in exactly as the original and works great.

Perfect replacement that works well

These cylinders don't work nearly as well as the original ones that came with the greenhouse vents. In the heat the original ones would open 10-12 inches. Set exactly the same way these open 4-5 inches at best, which is not enough venting for delicate crops. Either these are old stock (they only last a year or so), or they are just not the same quality. I'd rather pay a little more and find some that really work.

Easy to install and replaced old cylinder with no problems. Just what I needed

These are the exact Orbesen Teknik cylinders that came from the factory on my Optivent equipped greenhouse. The originals lasted a decade, and I never even knew it was advised to remove them in Winter. I live on the front range of Colorado that has winters of varying severity. These replacement cylinders pop the vents open wide in the heat of the day, and close them down at night, just like they are supposed to. Glad to have found them at a fairly decent price.

Works great

Both this replacement cylinder and the original vent are fantastic products. This was a replacement for a cylinder I had damaged by locking the hinge without disengaging the cylinder, lesson learned. My only criticism is the threads on the hinge and cylinder are not easy to engage when installing.
