We gave this set to our six year old granddaughter tonight for Chanukah. She loves helping her mom fix things around the house, and building furniture from IKEA, but her hands are too small to work well with regular size tools.These are real tools, just like her grandfather’s, but with smaller handles so she can use them herself. She was thrilled with the quality, types of tools, and the safety glasses and bag are the best! She couldn’t wait to go home and take something apart so she could put it back together.What a wonderful product! Now I want to find kid size EVERYTHING!

This is a great beginners first toolset. It comes with a genuine Craftsman's pocketed bag. Better than most bags that come with adult tool sets. This tool set comes with a tool bag, safety glasses (perfect fit for my 4 year old), hammer, pliers, scissors, phillips head screw driver, flathead screwdriver, tape measure, and a crescent wrench. All were perfect for my son to properly hold right and use the right way. I will say he has been on his dad and I constantly about wanting to bring his tools and go to work. This is a must have gift for any boy or girl who is hands on and loves to work. As you can see in the picture we gave my son a board and some nails and showed him how first then he wanted to do it next. I do a lot of little projects around the house, mostly hanging pictures or Flat Screens or building furniture from IKEA, and my 10-year-old always wants to help. His fascination with tools is endless, so I wanted to make sure to encourage the interest. What better way than to get him his own set. This one is perfect. When there's a job around the house, I just say, "go get your tools", and he's on it. Great bonding experience. I especially like the short-neck hammer; it's just perfect for his hand and has enough heft behind it to put a nail into a 2x4. Thanks for the great set!

I purchased this for my 8 year old grandson. It was just like regular tools only small for my grandson. I did have to return it as his other grandparents had ordered the same gift for him and beat me to the punch! Same long lasting material like adult tools. My daughter uses the adjustable wrench and tape measure every chance she gets. The whole set is very durable and will get light tasks done. These tools are great to build muscle memory and confidence.

This is a very high quality tool set. But these are real tools and not toys. They’re just a bit smaller and suitable for smaller hands. They are listed for ages eight and up and I think that’s about right.
