These LIghts are bright and easy to install , I have had them for months and have not burned out , the problem is they stay slightly on when off, I think most modern cars have alittle voltage going to light even when off to detect if the light is blown, then the cars computer knows when to alert the owner a bulb needs changing . would like to let others know , these will shine dimmly during night driving.

I installed this in my Dodge Journey. The original light bulbs burned out so I swapped them out for these. During install I noticed that the metal ends where the LED gets its power from are smaller than the original bulb. I matched the numbers and site said that it is compatible. Unfortunately, they are just loose and when I open and close the trunk (where they are installed) the light comes on an off randomly due to a bad contact due to a smaller than OEM size. I tried squeezing the contacts from the car together but its not working properly. In regards the brightness, easy of install and value for money, they deserve 5 stars (which I gave it), but because its not OEM spec size I can only give it an overall 4 stars as it is not a direct replacement.

I love how they are so bright, I really really like them. Blinded the crap out of me. I still feel like I can’t see. Once I got done. I noticed that they were acting up really bad. One of the lights started to turn off by itself when it was in the light socket. And it wasn’t lose. I had to keep on hitting the light bracket to turn the light back on. The other two lights were okay. But also. When leaving my car the lights dimmed to off then flickered a bit before fully turning off. UPDATE: NO error codes but now the light messed up one of the sockets it was in. When I put the halogen light back in the original spot. The light’s socket wouldn’t do the opening welcome light with either light. But the light will turn on when I push the button to turn the light on.

Price could be better,and would be nice to get just one.EXTREMELY bright ! Used in dome light on Ram 1500 and couldn't be happier.10X as bright as stock bulb !

The appearance in my interior is very bright in my ram 1500. I wouldn't recommend staring at it when installing unless you like staring at the sun for fun. The only downside is they are fragile and the first bulb I attempted to install broke. My truck uses three and I wanted the fourth one as a spare. I would rate them 5 stars but after what happened to the first one it makes me wonder if they will last.UpdateAfter a week I noticed my interior lights working improperly. Two of my three lights would not turn on. Even worse the third one was dim and would not turn off.

Replaced the recently burned out stock bulb in my regular cab 06 Silverado. Easy install and over twice as bright as stock bulb, and have 3 extras in case they don't last.

Used three of the 42mm festoons in a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria - one in the main dome light, and one each in the rear reading lights. They're plenty bright - definitely brighter than the original incandescents, and run much cooler. The whiter light is a bonus. Between these and a different replacement bulb type in the map lights, the interior of my Vic is well-lit at night, just how I want it. I can't comment yet on the longevity. Construction seemed solid. The heat-sinking was doing it's job, and they are indeed non-polarized, which is nice - no trial and error getting them the right way around to work. I also purchased the 31mm version for the vanity mirrors, but that turned out to be incorrect. No fault of the bulbs - I had inaccurate info. I did test them, and the smaller bulbs were just as nice as the larger version, jut a little less bright.

2017 Dodge Ram 2500Great upgrade for the work truck. I found that the existing old style incandescent bulb wasn't providing enough light in the morning when ts still dark and I'm doing paperwork. This bulb is exactly what I needed.As another review mentioned, the contact points on the ends are smaller than the lamp-holder contacts(for this vehicle). Unlike the other review, I was able to use needle nose pliers to squeeze the lamp-holder contacts together tight enough to make solid uninterrupted contact. In all, it took less than 10min to install, but someone less mechanically inclined could have difficulty if they have the same "exact fit" problem.*I literally installed the lamp about 10 minutes ago, so I can't speak on longevity. Luckily, I have 3 spares.I'll update this review if it burns out while I have this vehicle.All in all, great value for the price and I would and will buy from this vendor again.
