Attractive and functional
Beware--this frame is HUGE. Somehow I missed when ordering it how tall it is. Thankfully I was planning to put it on my deck, where headspace is infinite, but it may not fit in most indoor spaces. It has a very modern, minimalist look to it, despite its size. It was fairly simple to put together in that there are only a few steps and the directions are easy to understand, but the pieces are large and heavy, so you will need two people to do this. It feels very sturdy (it had better, considering its weight). I've only had it for a couple of months, but it's held up to the elements well so far. I suspect if it's not abused, it will last a long time.Update NOV 2014: It's been outside all this time, and is now entering its third winter. It's held up fine--no rust or chinks or anything. I would recommend bringing the hammock inside though :)

Did not get the item shown!
The model is right, the box was right, the Outback Chair brand was right, and the included directions do say "C Frame".However I did NOT get the item pictured, so I uploaded some of my own to share. My chair as assembled was 73" wide, 60" deep, and 94" tall!! I think this frame takes up more space than my car AND IT IS TOO TALL TO FIT INDOORS!!!So now I have $380 worth of scrap steel in my living room since I bought TWO!! "Return" shipping on top of the previous shipping charge would make this a ridiculous loss even if I managed to return them.I have no idea how this "right box/wrong item" could have happened. Outback Chair doesn't show anything like this on their site. No word back yet from the seller/Amazon on how to correct this situation yet.

Outback chair company is the best
I highly recommend the Outback chair company and any chair or frame they make! The chair I received was missing parts in the box, so after having limited options with returning and getting a new almost 60 pound chair, I called the outback chair company and spoke with Jack. He was great and the company is great! If you have any problems with hardware, they are more than happy to work with you to get you the part I need! I know there are less expensive chairs out there, but when you subject the item to all the elements and the company stands behind it even though they did not sell it, that is the sign of a great company!I greatly recommend the outback chair company!

Too short!
Plain and simple, this stand is too short for the chair I have. Maybe I need to get a smaller chair. At first, I couldn't attach the chair to the ring, to hang it. I had to rig it on the top, and it was fine. When I did get something to hang it with, it hung way too low, and I was actually sitting on the bottom part of the stand. So, back to rigging it like before. Now, even with that, it's too low since the chair stretched. I'll have to see about finding a shorter chair since it would be way to much of a hassle and too expensive to send the stand back.

shelter frame for windchimes
I recently purchased this frame as a stand for a very large windchime (music of the spheres big one!). It works great. Holds the windchimes up, away from the house and window damage, and is relatively portable. I had looked all over to find something with a deep enough curve so the windchimes wouldn't hit the frame when windy outside. The product was not too hard to assemble- does take 2 people. Also found heating the cap ends in warm water allowed me to slide them on easier. It is quite sturdy, functional and a great deal for the price. Would highly recommend.

and it continues to be an excellent framework supporting my sky chair
I have used this frame for several years now, and it continues to be an excellent framework supporting my sky chair. Excellent product.

Very Large
The chair frame is great! I've had a sky chair for years an nowhere to hang it. However, the size information in the product description lead me to believe that the frame was significantly smaller. It's just over 8 feet tall - I can't set it up on the second floor my house, where I had planned to use it, because it's too tall for the ceiling. It's sturdy and easy to put together, but make sure that you have high ceilings if you plan to use it indoors!

Exactly what I needed!
This hammock swing stand arrived very quickly in a rather well worn box. Likely due to the weight of the individual parts. But once assembled is a very strong, very heavy, high quality stand. I shopped around and needed one that could hold just in excess of 300lbs. This one certrainly does the job. Seems it could take much more weight actually. Great product!
