Item as expected. I live with a clumsy household and I want my mattress kept clean and dry. I bought 2 to layer up with bedding on my mattress and my goodness am I glad I did, when late at night my son knocked a drink over. I whipped off my top sheet and protector and found a perfectly made, dry bed to sleep on underneath. I recommend this to anyone; Protector, sheet, protector, sheet! So there's no remaking the bed in the small hours when you need sleep. Wish I'd discovered this tip when toilet training the kids! The sheet definitely did it's job, nothing had soaked through beyond the sheet itself.

From the bad reviews I read I was abit reluctant to buy this but there was so many good reviews I thought I would give it ago. It’s good quality it doesn’t make any noise and is definitely waterproof I did a water test and really rubbed it in and it did not go through. Only bad thing I would say about this cover my mattress is a uk double so I bought the uk double cover and it was a little on the small side the waterproof part don’t quite reach the edge of my mattress and the rest of that is the mesh part of the cover. Im not sure if it’s because I have a memory foam topper which I can’t remove, I think this add thickness to my mattress hence why it was a little bit small. I kinda wish I went the size up. It’s not enough for me to take it back because pretty much most of my bed is covered. I bought this cover because I get heavy periods and I always end up leaking onto my bed no matter what I wear or do,so this will be great for me. I would recommend this cover most definitely. I would just measure up the bed first or go the next size up

I very rarely give an item 5 stars. When I first got this I gave it 3 stars, due to worries about what it said on the packaging. If it's it would get 4 stars. To get 5 stars it has to be outstanding, life changing, and it has been.I had feared that these wouldn't breathe, that they would be hot and clammy. Nope!! Nothing of the sort, most nights I forgot it was there. But not all nights, some nights I was very, very pleased it was thereFor many years I have problems with keeping my bed dry at night. I've spent a lot of money replacing mattreses, yet my bedroom stank, because after a while of numerous cleaning agents there was nothing I could do to stop the smell.But for the last 4 months I have not had a single problem. But a few nights ago I had a bad gut bug that caused a Bristol stool sample type 7 whilst I was asleep. I woke to find my needing a shower immediatly. After that I went back to my bed and used a hot air fan to dry the residue. The mess had soaked through the bed sheets and into its terri toweling, fearing the worst, i found - Nothing! The mattress was dry as a bone and untouched.So now all I have to do is replace my mattress one more time and my bedroom may be somewhere someone else might want to spend some time with me in!Thankyou for changing my life!!(Previous Edit) Just recived it. Its advertised as being breathable and waterproof, but only waterproof is listed on the packaging. I will try it out and come back with a further review when I discover if it actually breathes.

My son is disabled and his nappies regularly. I’ve been going through mattresses annually even though I use waterproof mattress protectors! I couldn’t figure out why so I have bought 2 different waterproof mattress protectors for each of our beds to test them (comes into my bed sometimes.) My two protectors for my bed arrived yesterday. I had this one on top of my other one which is bamboo. He had a huge leak this morning. This protector caught the wee but some of it did go down to the next protector. I could feel the dampness and smell the wee. So straight away, they are now both in the washing machine and I realise why I have had so many stains!

A lot of liquid has been spilt onto this cover and none of it has gone through on to my mattress. It’s very soft and no plastic noise. The plastic is soft to touch. I’m so happy with this product I ordered another and it arrives today.

Very pleased with this as doesn't make a horrible crinkle noise like other water proofs. Also nice and soft to touch. Fits perfectly. Will definitely do the job has waterproof coating underneath. Got fed up with the kids spilling drinks and worse, wish I'd bought one from the beginning as new mattress is unfortunately already looking awful

I don't know how waterproof it is as it hasn't been put to the test as yet, hence only 4 stars, but it doesn't make any crinkly sounds at all when you lay in bed and it isn't noticeable under the sheet, either by sight or feel.

Cannot really say to much at this moment .It arrived on time .The fit is good and it feels good to the touch.The price paid was competitive with other listed products at the time.The four star rating is based on that you can always do better.Happy to recommend .
