Great mag if it wasn't so hard left.
I would like this mag a whole bunch better without the liberal gibberish. False stories about draining residual from oil fields to the EPA has hands tied cause of State and BLM policies. Just junk reading as I am a conservationist but I don't like false reading also known as fake news. It does get huge stars for the other half of the magazine however. I've read this publication since the early 90s fishing in Wyoming.

A bit clumsy
I had a difficult time negotiating the electronic version of the magazine. It was difficult to get back to previously browsed articles and I found myself going to the very beginning and just reading everything sequentially. I'm still not sure I read every article but I think I did! I get the complication of having the same "feel" as a real magazine so I gave for stars as what I did read I enjoyed very much! Still quality articles and information! I also get that being older I probably don't quite understand how to navigate that well in kindle!

Useful and enjoyable topics clearly written to cover the depth of the subjects at hand.
The writers in this magazine were very understandable to me. I found I reread some articles because the info was either new to me or refinements of my current knowledge. Also the topic choice was to my pressed interests.

The issues come irregularly... In two weeks ...
The issues come irregularly... In two weeks, I got about four months worth of the magazine. I also don't appreciate it when you subscribe and then it takes 6 weeks for the first issue to arrive--only to discover the first issue was one back from the time you subscribed. But anyways--definitely strange getting August - December in just the course of 1 month--now I have to wait a long time again for another issue.

Cover to Cover Reading
Each issue of Fly Fisherman is packed with adventure articles, up-to-date innovations in the sport, and excellent photography. This is the oldest - and probably still the best - magazine for information, new ideas and inspiration for the dedicated fly angler.

I have subscribed to this publication for years. There is no better magazine for information regarding fly fishing.

Very informative and great!
The articles are well written and were very informative! The ads were relevant and not to intrusive. I really enjoyed the magazine and highly recommend it if you are getting into fly fishing!

Paperless not for me
I love the content, but I don't do online magazines. I want the paper version. I'm too old for paperless.
