I got ripped off!
Not what you think it is!!!By looking at the price and the photos, one would think they are getting the full size 3 x 3 ink pad. Don’t be fooled like I was! This is the mini not the full size it is only the size of a quarter! Save your money and keep shopping

Ridiculously expensive
I purchased two of these without realizing they were mini. Never again! 😒

Stay away
Not sure if this is a genuine product! First off it’s an extremely over priced mini version and the ink bleeds like crazy unlike the originals. Buyer beware

Too expensive!
You know, I honestly didn’t see this was a mini, I guess I was more concentrated in the color while browsing for these inks.... well, it won’t happen again. I paid more for this mini ink, compared to what I paid at Michaels for the regular size. This is a rip-off 😳

Misleading photo
Misleading photo. I thought it was the 3x3 it isn't. My bad for not reading the description closer. I thought I clicked on the right one but after receiving the product and checking the order it says mini. Seems like that it has happened to others as well. I'm sure that the photo is serving it's intended purpose. I don't know if it's dried out or not, I haven't checked. I would never spent this much for a mini as you can get a multi pack for the same price at other stores. Unable to give less than one star. The description should start with Mini in my opinion.

NOT a deal
In shopping for TH products, I found this Distress Ink pad for $6.47, thinking it was the regular size since I had bought the 3x3 inch for less money at Hobby Lobby...pay attention to the size! More money for a SMALLER, 1x1! More expensive for much less. If you’re looking for a deal, you will NOT find it here

Beware ! This is a mini 1 x 1 ink pad
This is an 1 x 1 ink pad. It doesn’t state this in the lead description, Only if you scroll to the fine print will you find it. For$ 6.41 I thought I was getting a full size 3. X 3 pad. I would not have ordered this if I had known. Price is way out of line. Would never buy again.

A good ink pad for embossed paper
I generally make and sell between 150 - 200 greeting cards per year, and I like to emboss the backgrounds, and then color them so that the raised pattern stands out. I tried all sorts of ink pads until I finally found this vintage photo Distress Ink pad from Jim Holz. It's advertised as creating "an aged look on papers, fibers, photos & more" which wasn't quite what I was looking for. But it also works very well for coloring a raised pattern after I've run my cardstock through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder. Please see the customer image for a sympathy card that I embossed with an autumn-themed folder, then colored with the vintage photo Distress Ink pad.The only drawback to using this Distress Ink pad is that it takes a few minutes to dry. The vintage photo color will appear to be dark brown on almost any color of card stock.

Good quality and worth it!
I love this ink pad it is easy to store as it stacks onto the others I have. The colour is just right for what I need it for. It's suitable for stamping and blending in scrapbooks, art journals or anywhere you fancy. It can also be put on a palette diluted with a little water and used as a water colour paint. I have had wonderful results of water colour and blending. Definitely worth the price, good quality and I'm definitely going to buy more in lots of different colours! 😁

Lovely grass-green reactive dye ink.
Per all Distress products this is a dye ink designed to give slightly imperfect coverage and then react with added water to give a grunge-y effect. It works well with rubber stamps (red and grey) but less so with photopolymer and not really at all with the cheaper silicone polymer ones. Ideally for Distress you need rubber but don't expect a perfect result like Memento or Archival - this isn't meant to do that. This is a mini-ink pad so you can store round blending foam inside the base and/or store the pad in the mini-ink pad tins. This is advisable for storage as the lids do not lock! The ink is provided on a thick felt pad that gives fantastic direct-to-paper application as well as being great on stamps or with a blending tool. You can dab it onto an acrylic block for "ink smooshing" methods or paint with it using a waterbrush like you would any watercolour or you can use it to colour texture pastes. So versatile! As for the colour - Mowed Lawn is the only true mid-tone green in the Distress range (the other greens are blue-ish or yellow-ish) and it is near to what a painter would call Permanent Green I guess but it is THE most useful colour as it's perfectly grass-like and just perfect in that regard if you're doing outdoor scenes and whatnot! It is dark enough for stamping but direct to paper you can get some great effects and it blends well with Squeezed Lemonade in this range to give a pretty gradient which is really fun.Strongly recommended for lovers of Distress who want a true green or those new to the range.

It is probably too pale for stamping but direct to paper you can get some great effects and it blends well with Abandonned Coral in this range to give a "tequila sunrise" gradient which is really fun.Strongly recommended for lovers of Distress who want a true yellow or those new to the range.

So versatile and so many lovely colours
I am completely new to distress inks, stencilling and paint effects in general. I was a little reluctant to spend a lot of money in case I just didn't get on with them. Spotting that I could buy mini pads made me decide to give it a go. I only bought 3 to begin with (Broken China, Wilted Violet and Cracked Pistachio) which I think work really nicely together. I love the different effects you get with blending and/or spraying with water.Am looking forward to lots more playing - and adding more colours to my collection

Miniscule
This 'mini' version of the product probably should be given customers as a sample. The size is ridiculous. To say 'mini' in the description (but not on a photograph) is not enough. The seller should give very clear measurements. It is probably not even a size of an inch.Incredibly disappointing considering I bought few colors and had to pay for the postage - a rip off from my point of view.
