Thank you Dr. Ramirez-Basco!!!!
After reading just the first few pages, I managed to make some immediate life changes that have definitely paid off. I started taking an on-line class that I'd been putting off and am helping organizing a wedding with way less distress than I ever thought possible. As Dr. Ramirez-Basco notes though, changing procrastination habits is about the long haul, so I still periodically browse through personally relevant chapters to get reinspired. Since having had the book for two months now, I have bought two more copies for family members. This would be a great gift for ones self, and then when others start to notice the difference in your life, get them a copy too!

My favorite on the topic.
I've read several books on procrastination and this is my favorite. It is short - about 170 pages. That's a good thing. Shorter is better for procrastinators, busy people and slow readers. It is very user-friendly and to-the-point. You can quickly diagnose the reasons you are procrastinating in chapter 1 with a short quiz. From there you can get busy addressing those reasons with straightforward strategies. The vignettes are a little cheesy, but I assume realistic. That aside, this is an excellent self-help book. I would recommend it to anyone interested in understanding their procrastination and becoming more productive.

Self-help books on procrastination never seem to help. I thought this one might. Alas, not.
If you read my review of the other self-help book to solving procrastination, you read that I don't usually read self-help books. Procrastination has been a life-long struggle. I probably need a therapist and CBT to really break the habit. The other book I read had stories about people two whom I could relate, but it still didn't help me. This book's "how to" helped even less. I don't remember the author's bona fides, but it's like it was written by someone with all the energy and motivation in the world and really doesn't understand procrastination. "What are you waiting for? Just start working on it now. Why wait? You'll feel good when you get something done early." Well, it's not that simple, and there are probably lots of reasons why I procrastinate, most of which were probably buried deep in my noggin' long, long ago. I hope you have better luck.

Get this right now and it can change your life
This book is one of the best you can ever get if you have trouble procrastinating and keep doing it. Dr Basco gives very good advices quickly to help overcome your problem and do an amazing job at helping you put the theory into actions. Their is VERY few books on procrastination that does it as well as The Procrastinator's Guide to Getting Things Done and I've read them all. The decision to read this book might be the only decision missing from changing your life!
